5 Best Phoenix Restaurants on Diners, Drive-Ins, & Dives

If you’re at all a fan of the Food Network, then you’ve seen Guy Fieri — yes, the one with the hair — and you’ve probably even seen his flagship TV show, Diners, Drive-Ins, and Dives. This show features Fieri checking out towns all across the country in search of the best-kept secrets in the restaurant world. He’s been to Phoenix, of course. Not once, though — no, he keeps on coming because Phoenix has so much to offer; you might even call it “Flavortown.” Check out some places Guy Fieri has been for Diners, Drive-ins, and Dives in Phoenix!

Los Taquitos

4747 E Elliot Rd #17, Phoenix, AZ 85044

No one can say that Mexican food isn’t a staple of Phoenix, and Guy Fieri’s visits to the Valley has proved as much. He visited to enjoy this family-owned and -operated restaurant, who serves a killer spicy burrito and their titular carnitas taco plate (with a special family recipe!) that motivates many a hungry customer.

The Wild Thaiger

2631 N Central Ave, Phoenix, AZ 85004

Whether you’re here to enjoy the Dragon Eggz as featured on Diners, Drive-Ins, and Dives or whether you’re looking for something like the Holy Basil Chicken or De-Cha Boar, there’s a wide variety of Thai plates at this sensational restaurant in Phoenix!

Giuseppe’s on 28th

2824 E Indian School Rd, Phoenix, AZ 85016

This Italian joint hit another soft spot for Fieri with their signature mix of high-class and homey, which is shown in the food and the atmosphere alike. You could make like him and try the mouthwatering house-made tagliatelle topped with a seven-meat ragu, or branch out — either way, you won’t be sorry!

The Duce

525 S Central Ave, Phoenix, AZ 85004

Mac-and-cheese muffins — enough said, right? Well, in addition to an exciting menu, The Duce in Phoenix has a thrilling venue. With a speakeasy-style lounge, live bands on the patio, and “rock and roll burlesque” shows, this spot from Diners, Drive-Ins, and Dives is rightly called Party Central.

Over Easy

4730 E Indian School Rd #123, Phoenix, AZ 85018

This “local Midwest kinda feel” doesn’t come easy, but Over Easy makes it look… well, easy! Guy Fieri saw a few amazing breakfast dishes made at this restaurant on Diners, Drive-Ins, and Dives such as the iconic chicken fried steak, complete with fried potatoes and a tomato jam that knocked Fieri’s socks off!
