We have created a list of the best places to see Christmas lights in Phoenix this season!
ZooLights
455 N Galvin Pkwy, Phoenix, AZ 85008
An annual staple of the Phoenix Zoo, ZooLights typically offers a “lantern safari” that includes many other animals as well. On several nights this year, the Phoenix Zoo will also be holding a Cruise ZooLights experience, which is closed to foot traffic and allows driving only through the walkways, to enjoy the lights in the safest way possible!
World of Illumination — Rockin’ Christmas
6797 N 93rd Ave, Glendale, AZ 85305
It’s that time of year again, and World of Illumination’s Glendale car-bound Christmas light show near Phoenix does it right, with their Rockin’ Christmas theme. You can guess what’s going on here: a whole lot of music, a whole of lots, and a whole lot of Christmas! Just like ZooLights, all tickets must be purchased online before arriving — no “at the gate” ticket purchases, so you can enjoy the show safely and securely inside your own vehicle!
Las Noches de las Luminarias
1201 N Galvin Pkwy, Phoenix, AZ 85008
The Desert Botanical Garden, or the DBG for short, shares a deep love for the desert landscape, and one way they show it is through their holiday light tour of the garden! Las Noches de las Luminarias is the annual show at DBG, and this year, the event is offering a touchless photo booth and a “silent night” held on the Winter Solstice.
Glendale Glitters
N 58th Ave & W Glendale Ave, Glendale, AZ 85301
All over 16 blocks of downtown Glendale, the tradition of decorating the city with Christmas lights for six weeks of festivity will include 1.7 million glittery bulbs. This festival near Phoenix is foregoing some of the other traditions, like the opening weekend celebration and the lighting ceremony, but even walking through the lights of Glendale is enough to warm the heart!
World of Illumination — Arctic Adventure
2200 W Alameda Dr, Tempe, AZ 85282
For those looking forward to a little bit of winter magic and a whole lot of peppy pop music to go with it, check out World of Illumination’s riding holiday light show in Tempe, Arctic Adventure! You can also order a 4-pack of special glasses to find a winter-themed surprise in this show!
