Best Pools for Pool Parties in Tucson

Nothing screams “summer in Arizona” like a pool party. It’s a fantastic and fun way to beat the heat, whether you’re an adult or a kid on a summer vacay. We have compiled a list of some of the best pools for some fabulous pool parties in Tucson this summer and, in the Copper State, early fall too!

Manzanita Pool

5110 S San Joaquin Ave, Tucson, AZ 85746

This one’s great for the kids! Manzanita Pool can be found on the southwest side of Tucson and it includes a host of features: a mushroom water feature (cool looking splash pad), ramadas, a slide, a deep end, six lap lanes, and great prices! Kids get in for $1 and adults only pay $3 — but make sure to bring cash. You can also reserve a pool zone for parties! Bring cake, food, tables, and chairs and make sure to reserve a spot at least five days in advance. They’re open this 4th of July and you can get in free if you bring canned goods for their food drive. Help out the community and have some fun while you’re at it!

The Tuxon Hotel

960 S Freeway, Tucson, AZ 85745

If you’re looking for a great place to have a pool party for yourself and your older friends, booking a stay at The Tuxon Hotel is probably your best bet. This trendy hotel is the place to be on the weekend as every Friday (6–9 p.m.) they have local musicians performing at The Pool Bar. Grab a flight of margaritas and enjoy complimentary plantain and papas by the pool. There’s also a pool party every Saturday afternoon from 1 to 5, complete with a live DJ and complimentary sliders with the purchase of a craft beer flight. What are you waiting for?

Thad Terry Aquatics Center

7770 N Shannon Rd, Tucson, AZ 85741

The Thad Terry pool is part of Pima County’s Party Zone, just like Manzanita Pool. You are able to have a party, gathering, or BBQ for just $50. This is awesome because a lot of local pools are very strict about entering with food and even accessories like goggles, so take advantage of pools like this one during the summer! The program is offered Monday through Thursday — as well as Saturdays — during normal pool hours. Because these are normal pool hours, a lifeguard is there at no extra cost. They use online booking only, so head to their sites and book from there! The family will love you for this.

Los Niños Pool

5432 S. Bryant Avenue, Tucson AZ, 85706

Located at Los Niños park, this pool has a 12-foot-deep end, six lap lanes, a separate baby pool (Aww!), shaded picnic areas, and a diving board! Los Niños pool also takes part in the Pima County Party Zone. The park and pool are beautiful — perfect for hosting a party. And remember, all Pima County pools are open for 4th of July with free entry if you bring canned food!

AC Hotel Tucson Downtown

151 E Broadway Blvd, Tucson, AZ 85701

AC Hotel in downtown Tucson hosts poolside parties at their rooftop pool during the summer until Saturday, September 17th. Tickets are $25 each and only available for 21 years and older. No kiddos are allowed here! The parties feature food and drink from Little Love Burger, ice cream from the beloved Hub Ice Cream Parlor, and local DJ Walters the Don. Don’t forget, drinks are available from AC Hotel’s poolside bar. Need we say more? Get your tickets before they sell out!
