With that in mind, there are places all over the Valley that have specials in place or something to commemorate these holidays. From food, to drink, to something fun or frightening, we listed our favorite local ways to celebrate Halloween in the Valley in style this year!

With some permanent locations and food trucks that span Downtown Phoenix, Scottsdale, Tempe, Mesa, and other parts of the Valley, Aioli’s Gourmet Burgers is a Phoenix area staple. Check their calendar to find one of their food trucks, or, if you’re looking for some family fun before the big day, you can get presale tickets now for their Spooky Alley event, where they and the indoor playground Uptown Jungle will feed and entertain as one big fall festival: trick-or-treating, a costume contest, hours of playtime, and gourmet food all included for $20 each now or $25 at the door.
Mikiztli Día de los Muertos PHX at Steele Indian School Park
300 E. Indian School Road, Phoenix
Masked dancers, local performers like ballet and mariachi, artists, food vendors, and even activities for the kids all make this festival celebrating the Mexican holiday a huge to-do. Learn a little more about the Hispanic heritage that informs these traditions, and meanwhile enjoy Aztec dances, face painting, fresh paletas, and so much more.
Dark Hall Coffee

Ready to celebrate Halloween and Día de los Muertos… perhaps with some cake? Dark Hall Coffee, the all-vegan coffee shop, always sports a dark vibe, and their autumnal coffees this year coffees share a witchy theme between their “pyre” latte made from smoky lapsang tea and their “constance”, a cold brew featuring clove, orange, and brown sugar. Also check out their cute skull cake decorating kits, selling now with three mini-cakes each of two popular flavors!
“The Rocky Horror Picture Show” Interactive Dinner at Match Market & Bar

This adult four-course dinner experience hosted by Match Market & Bar (located in FOUND:RE Phoenix Hotel) is inspired by the classic cult film, and with that in mind, their courses are named “Acts”. Starting with Act One’s course, “Dr. Frank-N-Furter Under The Sheets”, and ending with Act Four’s rocky road ice cream dessert. Costume contests on both nights (October 29th and 30th) and audience participation (as well as ordering a cocktail or two) are highly encouraged. In the words of Dr. Frank-N-Furter, “Isn’t it nice?”
Mount Mayhem 2021: PHOBIA

Located at an actual residence, this hardworking family fright house is taking COVID safety seriously as they prepare to scare. October 22-24, as well as Halloween weekend, are when you can make your reservations to take on this scary experience with up to four others you want to bring with you. Be sure to watch your step, and remember: you enter at your own risk.
Freak Show at The Hot Chick
4363 N 75th St, Scottsdale, AZ 85251
This game bar in Old Town Scottsdale toots its own horn about its amazing fried chicken, but their drinks are also something special. Their groovy vibe and their usual “Pootie Tang” cocktail are undergoing something of a makeover for the Freak Show event on October 30th, with live music and five-dollar shots of Crown Apple or the Halloweened-up “Spooky Tang” beverage.
The Sicilian Baker

We’ve got another sweet spot for you: The Sicilian Butcher is an Italian marketplace known for its Cannoli Bar, a place for Italian pastries that are usually mouthwatering to begin with.
