Pride Friendly Events in Tucson

Pride Month is here, and you know what that means! You get to celebrate in a number of ways here in Tucson, whether it’s with bar crawls, performances, or bazaars held by the Tucson LGBT Chamber of Commerce, there are events to enjoy in all shapes and forms. If you’re ready to look for the best Pride-friendly events in Tucson, here’s your go-to list!

June 18, Pride Bar Crawl

John Henry’s Bar, 117 N 6th Ave, Tucson, AZ 85701

Drinking together is always a great way to celebrate — and the same is true during Pride. If you’re down for at least a couple drinks, amazing local food, and waived cover fees at various venues, this is a great time to celebrate. If that doesn’t convince you, remember that Downtown Tucson’s fifth annual Pride Crawl donates a portion of the proceeds to the Trevor Project, an important cause preventing suicide efforts in the LGBTQ+ community. Be a part of the community and donate to a great cause — and enjoy the atmosphere while you’re at it.

RuPaul’s Drag Race Viewing Parties

Sky Bar Tucson, 536 N 4th Ave, Tucson, AZ 85705

Not just June, but every Friday during the show’s season, watch Mama Ru get her girls to lip sync for their lives. Enjoying something simple like a bunch of other RuPaul fans all in one place is what Pride is all about!

June 25, Coming Unscrewed for PRIDE

Unscrewed Theater, 4500 E Speedway Blvd #39, Tucson, AZ 85712

On June 25th, be prepared to come unscrewed. That Saturday night at 9 p.m., leave the kids at home and join everyone in Unscrewed Theater for an uncensored Pride performance. Face masks are required for everyone’s safety, but you can also stay home and comfortably enjoy this 17+ show on the web!

Jun 16, Pride Breakfast 2022

Community Foundation for Southern Arizona, 5049 E Broadway Blvd #201, Tucson AZ 85711

Gary and Dan Ross, a military couple that has stood up for love in the face of discrimination, are putting on a celebration on June 16th at 8 a.m. The couple is holding this breakfast thanks to the sponsor Pride Guide Arizona, and thanks to their efforts, anyone in the Tucson LGBT Chamber of Commerce gets discounted tickets to the event. Share your excitement, love, and Pride at this annual breakfast get-together.

June 25, Queer Bazaar

Tucson Hop Shop, 3230 N. Dodge Blvd, Tucson Arizona 85716

From 5 to 9 p.m. Tucson will be full of vendors ready to celebrate by doing what they do best: Making art, food, beer, and more available to the masses. If you’re looking for a place to enjoy good eats for a good cause, look no further. The Queer Bazaar is being held this June to benefit the Thornhill Lopez Center on 4th and the National Center for Transgender Equality — making all this shopping and eating a very worthy venture indeed!
