Kehinde Wiley is known first for his portraits based on photos of young men in Harlem. Meanwhile, he is celebrated for his artistic contributions to intercultural understandings. In his portrayals of men of color, Wiley often critiques the subtleties of masculinity and physicality. Currently, multiple works from Wiley are featured at an art gallery at the Phoenix Art Museum collection through gifts and funded purchases.

From August 20th to September 17th, West Valley Arts Council is hosting an art gallery or exhibit of Korean and Korean-American artists in Arizona.
