Katie Price Reacts to “Detained” Rumors as GMB Reaches Out to Foreign Office Regarding Husband’s Airport Disappearance

Katie Price Dismisses The Rumor of Husband Being Held at Dubai Airport Amid GMB Mess

During a very tense interview on Good Morning Britain, Katie Price turned down the rumors that her husband, Lee Andrews, was detained at an airport in Dubai.
The reality star, ex-glamour model and mom, Katie Price, was slated to come to the ITV breakfast show to include Lee, the hosts being Susanna Reid and Ed Balls. Katie showed up solo and told the presenters that Lee had “missed his flight.” Lee’s a businessman based in Dubai, and he hasn’t been spotted in the UK since they started dating. That’s why some people are speculating he might have a travel ban.Susanna Reid didn’t hide her frustration on air, telling viewers: “Katie and her husband Lee were supposed to be here. That was still the plan right up until yesterday.”

The GMB team reached out to the Foreign Office on Thursday after hearing that a British man had been detained.

Ed also asked Katie quite bluntly if Lee had been arrested. She responded quite angrily: “No, I think it was just a thing they told me while I was there [backstage], so I just asked Lee, ‘Apparently a British man has been detained, can you confirm it’s not you?’ and he did a voice note back saying it’s not him and sent me laughing emojis.”
Katie said that at that time Lee was at the airport and had been sending her images of his journey.
“He replied, ‘No, it’s not me, ‘ through a voice note. He also sent me his pictures that he is at the airport on his way, ” Katie kept on. “He is coming over to spend quite a few months now after he sorts out my visa and my international driving license. He had things to do, didn’t make the flight because of all his business stuff he has to do.”

Presses Hosts to Go “Interrogate” Her as Susanna Doubts Lee’s Truthfulness

Giving more details about their planned visit to the show, Katie said: “We even did the study talk and everything, but he is at the airport now and he is on his way. He mentioned he’d even do a Zoom call.”
On whether Lee was an unreliable person, Katie said that he was not for her. She urged Susanna and Ed to “interrogate” her so that they understand the truth.
Susanna responded: “What I love about you Katie is that you’re very open, but I just wonder if he’s telling you everything.”

Then Katie claimed: “I guess that no one believes me, your expression shows it, [Susanna]. I can’t stay going to Dubai because I’ve got my work and my children here. Anyway, he is the one who pays for it, but I can’t keep going to Dubai so he’s shifting to here. I told him, ‘I keep flying to you, now you are the one who has to come to England.’
The mention of the Foreign Office prompted a question as to whether it “raised a concern” for Katie. She replied: “No, you have asked this question to them, they haven’t been the ones who came to you. Without his phone, without being at the airport, it definitely can’t be Lee. I have just talked to him on FaceTime from the airport; no, it cannot be Lee. He carries out many actions. Since I know what he does, I trust it.”
A lot of rumors are circulating that Lee cannot leave the city of United Arab Emirates after he was accused of signing his ex-girlfriend, Dina Taji’s name to get a £200, 000 loan, something he vehemently denies.

Along with the promotion of their upcoming show, Lee even missed his scheduled GMB appearance.

During today’s live broadcast of ITV breakfast show, Katie mentioned that Lee is currently planning to stay in the UK for a few months and he is already on his way to the country. Both Katie and Lee denied that he’d been detained, and said he was still planning to come to the UK.But Lee didn’t show up for the interview. About seven hours earlier, he’d posted online like he was there — even though he already knew he couldn’t make it. GMB shares a brief video message from Lee, showing his gratitude for their invitation and explaining he was unable to be there on this occasion.
Katie, in fact, gave a clue earlier about her partner’s inability to fly last month. When her sister Sophie confronted her on their podcast regarding the rumored travel ban, Katie answered: “I’ve heard from everyone that you can get a travel ban for literally anything in Dubai.”

Katie and Lee wed barely a week after they met.

Contrary to reports, Katie has firmly stated that she will not be relocating to Dubai to live in the £36 million house that Lee says is “bought with cash” by him. She remarked: “I don’t understand why people keep thinking that I’m the one who is moving. My family is here. The hubby is there, but the hubby comes here and I can go to Dubai.”
Apparently Katie was thinking of making Dubai her home base, or at least making frequent trips there. She told: “I’ve got to work out what I’m going to do with the animals because obviously Lee is in Dubai and I’m going to keep going to Dubai and back.
“I’ve got a dozen animals at home. I know I like things excessive, like big cars, big boobs, big bum, lots of animals, horses, this, that. I think I need to re-evaluate my life a little bit and just have a little think about everything.”
