About Pizzeria Bianco
Chris Bianco is arguably Phoenix’s most famous chef. He started Pizzeria Bianco in 1988 in a grocery store, and from that helped spur the artisanal (or fancy) pizza era. Although there are now a few valley locations, the downtown location is the first (and has the most ambiance). It is a small place but has endless character. Most people choose the Sonny Boy, classic Margherita, or the Wiseguy, but there are six wood-fired options to choose from along with a few salads. If you go, ask for the chili oil to dip your crust in! And you can guarantee yourself a seat as they take reservations!
