The castle was built in the 1930s by a man who moved to Arizona after he learned he had tuberculosis. He built the castle from an assortment of random materials he found or bought for cheap including goat milk, automobile parts, telephone poles, and more. The castle is even complete with a dungeon! Admission is only $10 for adults and $5 for children but is only open for tours October through May. However, you should know that stair climbing is required!
