About Heard Museum
The Heard Museum is one-of-a-kind in that it displays the stories and life of American Indian people from a first-person point-of-view. Opening in 1929, the Heard Museum is a deeply rooted cultural museum in Phoenix. They put their efforts into collaborating with American Indian artists at the forefront. On display, you will find a variety of pieces that could include art, music, language, craft, and more. Although much of the museum focuses on the Southwest, there are often exhibits from all over. The Heard Museum also hosts educational programs for both adults and youth as well as incredible festivals.
