Esteban Dog Park

Conveniently lit for dusktime sporting, Esteban Park isn’t just perfect for people. It’s also a great place to take your pup — with well-trimmed green and plenty of wide open space makes the area good for small and large dogs alike, with a side of the dog park area dedicated to either size!
Hance Park Dog Park
323 W Culver St, Phoenix, AZ 85003
Open from 6:30 a.m. to 9 o’clock every night, Margaret T. Hance Park’s dog park is a great place for you to get your pet some well-deserved exercise from morning till late! This dog park has earned a reputation for polite, considerate owners with well-behaved fur babies — so you can rest easy knowing you’re headed to a good location. Take care, though: since many of these dog owners know each other and their dogs’ great behavior, they tend to go off-leash quite a bit. This is a great spot if your dog isn’t the skittish type!
Thelda Williams Paw-Pup Park
200 W Jefferson St, Phoenix, AZ 85007
This awesome stomping ground is well-shaded and has access to water faucets for thirsty canines. Be sure to bring a bowl to catch it, though! This small park is a dedicated off-leash space, good for about 20 dogs at a time. The lush grass and maintenance make it a much-loved stop for many dog owners in Phoenix!
PetSmart Dog Park
6655 N 23rd Ave, Phoenix, AZ 85015
Located at Washington Park, this area sports plenty of seats for owners who have been on their feet! It’s also known for the amount of space it offers, and it’s even been the site of fun parties for the pups, like a pool and ice party on Independence Day. Like always, of course, don’t bring your kids in on this kind of fun since there are other dogs around — but any place that likes to celebrate canines is a good one for owners to try out!
Grover Basin Dog Park
17447 N 20th St, Phoenix, AZ 85022
This park opens nice and early at the break of dawn or 5:30 a.m. for those of you that prefer to use a clock. There is no playground to impede upon the space, so your dog is even freer to roam here. Now, you might need to bring yourself a flashlight if you stick around ’til closing time at 10 p.m., but the bright side is that this space will rarely get crowded!
