About Barry Goldwater Memorial
Barry Goldwater is a well known name in Arizona as there are many things named after this former U.S. Senator. The Barry Goldwater Memorial, located in Paradise Valley, serves to represent the life and legacy of this long time resident. Barry Goldwater was also a pilot, photographer, and someone remembered as a passionate Arizonan. In the park, the focal point is the one-half items life-size statue of Goldwater. The site also has extensive landscaping, desert plants, and a pedestrian path with Senator Goldwater’s quotes. The memorial park is located at the northeast corner of Tatum Boulevard and Lincoln Drive and is free for all.
