About AK-Pavillion
Ak-Chin Pavilion, located in west Phoenix off I-10 between 79th and 83rd Avenues, is the most popular concert venue in Maricopa County. The amphitheater has the largest seating capacity in the area, with room for 20,000 on the lawn, 8,000 seats under the roof of the pavilion, and room for 12,000 more on the green hillside just beyond the structure. The pavilion also offers several video screens so that concert-goers can see performers regardless of where their seats are located. Along with numerous concerts by bands and artists of all genres, Ak-Chin Pavilion has hosted many festivals throughout the years, like Lollapalooza and Ozzfest.
