Ahwatukee Foothills

What you need to know

This urban village is Phoenix’s most southern.  Although it is technically in Phoenix, it is also considered by some to be the ‘east valley.’  It carries the suburban vibes as it is mostly made up of families, has great public education, and a majority of residents here own their home.  Although the nightlife could be better, Ahwatukee is still filled with great restaurants, things to do, and a lot of park space.  There is also plenty of shopping in Ahwatukee with many strip malls and big-box chain stores alike.  Ahwatukee is often rated as one of the best neighborhoods to live in in the Phoenix metro.
