Karren Brady Breaks Silence on Ozempic Speculation After Dramatic Weight Loss, Reflects on Lifetime of Body Scrutiny

Karren‍‌‍‍‌‍‌‍‍‌ Brady Says No to Ozempic, Credits Weight Loss to Diet and Exercise Despite Lifetime of Body Scrutiny

Karren Brady’s astonishing weight loss has sparked almost as much interest as her appearance on The Apprentice and opened up the inevitable question whether she used weight loss injections such as Ozempic.
The Baroness is adamant that her staggering transformation is the result of a controlled diet and regular exercise, not a pharmaceutical shortcut.
Brady explained to The Sun, “I’m not on Ozempic, but questions about women’s weight come up way more often than they should. I would prefer if people talked more about my work than my weight.”
She also mentioned that she doesn’t judge anyone who goes for either cosmetic or medical interventions. “No one has the right to tell others what to do with their bodies. I personally don’t have a problem with it at all. But people think they know something they don’t know, or they just assume,” she said.
Talking about how women are often objectified, Brady said, “And so what if I was? And what if I wasn’t? It would be my decision. People talking about women’s bodies that way is definitely an attempt to insult them or make them feel insecure.”
Brady summed up by talking about her experience with body commentary that has followed her throughout her life: “I’ve been called too fat, too thin, and everything in between. It’s been my whole life. What I really want is to be strong, both physically and ‍‌‍‍‌‍‌‍‍‌mentally.”

Karren‍‌‍‍‌‍‌‍‍‌ Brady Reveals Fitness Regime and Reason for Weight Loss

Karren Brady, 56, revealed that she has in the past lost up to five kilograms before every season premiere of The Apprentice. She said she does that “to be at my usual weight and not look huge next to Alan [Sugar] who is very fit and healthy.”
Committed to the gym, the mother-of-two indicates that she puts in an effort to keep a regular workout routine despite having a very busy career. “You really have to make the time, especially as you get older,” she remarked. The main part of her workout includes running and lifting weights but she also swims occasionally.
“I attend three or four times a week,” Brady revealed. “I never have fixed days though, because I’m working full-time, and then I have to go to the House of Lords quite often to vote, so I squeeze it in whenever I ‍‌‍‍‌‍‌‍‍‌can.”

Karren‍‌‍‍‌‍‌‍‍‌ Brady talks about the “deeply rewarding” role of being a grandma

After her achievement at work and fitness, Karren Brady is gaining a lot of fun from her expanding family. The two kids’ mother told how much she loves her grandkids, Leo, who will be two in March, and little George, who is four months old.
“I just love being with them,” she explained, adding that her daughter has a lot to handle with the two little guys. “But a grandparent is a very satisfying role to take on. The presence of grandchildren brings to you a happiness and laughter that are totally fresh. You can spoil them, give them anything, pamper them.”
Although she loves the moments, Brady confessed that toddlers’ keeping up demands a lot of her. “It is really quite a job—you must have lots of energy, because naturally you don’t remember how children run about, never staying still even for a minute,” she continued. “Because you have to be so cautious all the time. It is great, ‍‌‍‍‌‍‌‍‍‌though.”

Karren‍‌‍‍‌‍‌‍‍‌ Brady Weight Loss Journey Started from Becoming a Grandma

Karren Brady recently shared that the main reason why she changed her weight and fitness so drastically was actually her becoming a grandma.
She explained, “I got hooked on health when I became a grandma and decided that I wanted to be a fit and healthy granny, so I just started to eat very healthy and got myself on the track of exercising.” “I am not a member of [the Ozempic Club] – full-on hard work. Losing is alright but the real trick is keeping it off,” she added.
Brady drew attention that sustaining the weight loss is a much bigger challenge than losing the weight initially. She also confessed that she does not keep track of her weight regularly although she lost a fair amount. “I have lost quite a bit—I don’t know, though, as I don’t weigh myself. I feel better for it. Basically, it’s good because everything you put on fits,” she said referring to the tangible advantages of her ‍‌‍‍‌‍‌‍‍‌change.
