Ellie Goulding Has a Second Daughter, Her First with Beau Minniear
Ellie Goulding has revealed that she and boyfriend Beau Minniear have had a baby girl while the baby is also her second child.
The star aged 39 is a mother to four-year-old son Arthur, whom she shares with her ex-husband Caspar Jopling, and she posted the good news on Instagram via a lovely picture.
“On Friday, I gave birth to a beautiful healthy baby girl. We are totally obsessed with her,” she stated. “In fact, it was only right that I spent International Women’s Day with her and the amazing women from St Mary’s who, along with myself and my baby, were given extraordinary care and kindness.”

The new mother professed her love for the work of midwives as well as her excitement over Arthur becoming a big brother. “The arrival of this little one truly makes me happy, not least because Arthur is very eager to be a big brother to our little angel,” she said.

In January Ellie Goulding was warmly surrounded by a few of her admirer stars at a baby shower in London to whom he has not yet revealed he is having a second child.
The 39-year-old vocalist went for a 70s disco party style and the decoration was taken from the Apple TV+ comedy Palm Royale. Goulding was gorgeous in a pink Versace short dress which not only accentuated her baby bump but also a sash with the word “Preggs” on it, which is a humorous reference to the well-known bakery chain Greggs.
The entertainment part was performed by the boyband Blue, and as a matter of fact, Goulding along with the band members Duncan James, Simon Webb, and Anthony Costa sang one of their chart-toppers, “Rise.”
Along with the drinks, guests were served a beautifully decorated cake depicting the Palm Royale theme and cans of Goulding’s cocktail brand, Served.
The singer showed the world the first sign of her pregnancy by being on the red carpet at the Fashion Awards in early December.
Goulding and her boyfriend, Beau Minniear, came out publicly in September 2025. Since then, the couple has been enjoying their stays together which also involved a trip to Italy.

Ellie talking about her pregnancy in January stated, “I have an amazing boyfriend. I do have it a little easier in that I do still have amazing support. I’m still working every day and still writing every day. It’s just that I am growing a human inside me. I’m probably not the most, like, Mother Earth about it, if you know what I mean? It’s a wonderful thing to be able to grow a child, and I feel very lucky that I am healthy – but it’s not all I am right now.”
Ellie finalised her divorce with art dealer ex Caspar Jopling in January 2025. They are still on good terms as they co-parent their son, Arthur.
Caspar, 34, moved on to actress Olivia Wilde, 41, and the couple was recently sighted having a romantic weekend in Mexico City.

Ellie Goulding to Lead Radio 1’s Big Weekend and Discuss Divorce in Her New Album
Ellie Goulding’s break from work will be a short one as she is set to lead the Radio 1’s Big Weekend event in Sunderland on Saturday, May 23.
Her sixth studio album, which elliptically reflects her brief marriage, is planned for release at the end of this year, after the success of her single Destiny.
Ellie told NYLON, “It was always the plan to work on this album. I just didn’t foresee that it would be a divorce album, but that’s how it began.”
“When I married my ex-husband, I thought it was a lifetime commitment. That thought will always be with me,” she said. “Some songs are so important to me that I really have to go back to that time in my life and give it the respect it deserves.”

Ellie Goulding opened up about the emotional turmoil that her new album went through, which according to her some songs were “extremely reactionary and sad,” but later on, they stopped being helpful to her long-term.
Before going into the studio, the break-up of her marriage had already become a source of inspiration for her music. She admitted to her producer, on the very day they met, telling him about the separation.
“I realized pretty quickly that my marriage was over, that things were pretty bleak… the day I met Jack was the day that I said to Jack, ‘Look, I should be honest with you. This morning, my husband and I agreed that we are going to separate,’” she said.
Even though the lyrics are so deeply emotional and personal, Ellie admits that her ex-husband Caspar is still on board with the album—at least for now.
“My record company, my friends – all of them are supporting me,” she revealed. “And even my ex-husband really likes the songs… well, he hasn’t listened to all the songs yet.”
