Denise‍‌‍‍‌‍‌‍‍‌ Richards and Ex Aaron Phypers Evicted from Calabasas Home Over $84K in Unpaid Rent

Denise Richards along with her former husband Aaron Phypers have received an eviction order from their landlord due to non-payment of rent at their residence in Calabasas, California.
They were served with an eviction notice when the landlord’s request was granted by a judge from the Los Angeles Superior Court on Friday, as reported in the court documents obtained by Page Six. It is claimed in the statement that the duo has accumulated a rental debt of $84,000.
Besides the eviction, the landlord has also demanded that Richards, who is 54 years old, and Phypers, 53, pay for lawyer’s fees and cover the cost of repairs to the property.
The ex-partners initially leased the house in June 2020 and at that time put down a security deposit of ‍‌‍‍‌‍‌‍‍‌$24,000.

Denise‍‌‍‍‌‍‌‍‍‌ Richards Claims She Moved Out Long Before Receiving an Eviction Notice

Following their acrimonious divorce after nearly six years of marriage, Denise Richards and Aaron Phypers’ eviction issue is the latest in their string of breakups as Richards is now estranged from their Calabasas rental home.
Asked by Page Six in August, Richards indicated in court documents that she had moved out of the residence two years prior and that she thought Phypers’ family would only be there for a short time.
In a statement to the court, Real Housewives of Beverly Hills alum informed Phypers that starting from January, he would be solely responsible for the rent while his family stayed in the house and, as per the complaint, refused to vacate.
The papers also state that the landlord had been trying to get in touch with Phypers for six months due to non-payment of rent and that he did not answer. Being that both Richards and Phypers were on the lease agreement, the landlord decided to issue an eviction notice to both of ‍‌‍‍‌‍‌‍‍‌them.

Denise‍‌‍‍‌‍‌‍‍‌ Richards Accuses Aaron Phypers of “Severely Damaging” Rental Home

According to court documents, Denise Richards accused Aaron Phypers and his family of “severely damaging” the rental home in Calabasas, stating that the house was left “in a state of disarray.”
Their court battle involves more issues than just the eviction. In November, Richards obtained a permanent restraining order against Phypers after accusing him of physically abusing her during their marriage – accusations he has always denied.
Phypers then responded by filing for an emergency hearing in his spousal support case in court records later that same month, saying he was on the verge of ‍‌‍‍‌‍‌‍‍‌homelessness.

Aaron‍‌‍‍‌‍‌‍‍‌ Phypers Says He’s on Brink of Eviction, Calls Lack of Access to Funds His Biggest Problem

According to court documents submitted recently, Aaron Phypers argued that he is so close to homelessness “at any time” from his house that he has to blame it on the fact that he doesn’t have access to his funds for his rent arrears to which he says the amount is $125,000 and he has also not paid the HOA fees amounting to $10,090.
“I would literally be homeless without a car or cell phone unless the court hearing could be brought forward and the court granted me the right to get to the substantial funds that [Richards] are controlling,” he stated.
Phypers added that in addition to the rent arrears issue there are also several utility bills at his home which are very overdue, thus increasing the total of his imminent financial and housing collapse, as he puts ‍‌‍‍‌‍‌‍‍‌it.
