Zayn Malik trims KONNAKOL tour dates, calls off U.S. shows, and encourages fans to donate to charity while getting better

Zayn Malik revealed that he has had to rethink his future schedule and finally make the decision to reduce the number of his KONNAKOL tour performances so as to concentrate on his recovery. Regardless of the alterations, the artist still wants to meet as many fans as he can and is looking forward to performing again.
Zayn Malik has not only canceled all the U.S. shows but has also removed the dates for Dublin and Birmingham from his lineup. His last Las Vegas residency was quite well received by fans who showed a lot of enthusiasm. However, the ticket sales for the U.S. part of the tour seemed a bit slower based on seat availability at the early stage.
There has not been a disclosure about the nature of Zayn’s illness. At the same time, his family pleaded with fans to be calm and stop ordering flowers as a local florist was swamped with orders. They also urged fans to donate to charitable causes, most notably the Palestine Project, as Zayn continues his ‍‌‍‍‌‍‌‍‍‌recovery.

Zayn Malik’s cousin clears up the flower request and gives an update on fan support during recovery

Zayn’s cousin, Sasha, posted a message from a local florist on her Instagram Stories Thursday, thanking everyone for the tremendous support while also pointing out that the amount of flower gifts had become almost impossible to handle. “We are very thankful to all who have sent us flowers! However, logistically, it just can’t work, ” she said.
Sasha further confirmed that the stop sending flowers message was not because of Zayn’s recent hospitalization. She spoke about the fact that the family fundraiser held during Ramadan was in fact responsible for the sudden increase in flower orders, not the singer’s health situation. She even clarified that the offerings were “simply out of support and love” for that fundraiser.

Zayn Announces New Album 'Konnakol,' Teases First Single 'Die for Me'

Zayn Malik remains quiet and keeps low profile after his disclosure of hospitalization, he has not offered any details about his condition.

This unexpected health problem led him to withdraw from the album listening event and Q&A session that were scheduled on April 13, in Kingston, U.K.
“So sad that I can’t see you guys this week, if it wasn’t for you I wouldn’t be where I am today and I am really thankful for your understanding, ” he said to his fans. At the same time, he thanked the hospital staff who cared for him.
Being famous has always been such a hard thing for him and that is partly why he left One Direction in 2015. The band continued to work as a four-piece for a short time only before going on hiatus. Sadly, the group had to face the death of their member Liam Payne in 2024 who was just 31 years old.
