Devonta Anderson is revealing the real story. He has spoken out to explain why he broke off the engagement with Brittany Wicker, his fiancée on Love Is Blind season 10—and contrary to what some might think, he clarified it’s not due to her looks.
”They are like, ‘He’s just so repulsed by her,’ and I’m like, you take five minutes of the footage from the 100 hours that we had where we did a million things,” Devonta informed E! News in an exclusive interview. “Many of the big things and even some small points that present the complete picture were omitted.”
Even though the loan officer—who is currently engaged and expecting a child with a former college friend—does not think that there was a “single pinpoint moment” that his relationship with Brittany went bad, he still believed they had too many obstacles in front of them to reach the altar together.

Devonta Anderson, 32, has revealed more aspects of the reason why he called off his engagement to Brittany Wicker, which was made on Love Is Blind show.
“From the moment really till the very end, I didn’t feel that again. My thought was, ‘If I’m really going to get married, then I want to be totally thrilled with it, and I don’t want to have any doubts, and also, I don’t want to have any baggage,’” he said.
“Brittany still had some things in her that needed healing and that’s when I said to myself, ‘Some of your past traumas from your past relationships, those are not really mine to carry,’” he added.
“I don’t want to be in a relationship constantly trying to fix the other one, especially when it comes to past issues,” said the loan officer. “And I’m not saying that any of it is absolutely horrible or anything, but still, I was thinking this is marriage we’re talking about. It’s not like a dating relationship. I wouldn’t want to enter a marriage with resentment and the two of us wondering why we didn’t fix these issues ahead of time.”
Love Is Blind Star Devonta Anderson on Editing and Unseen Conversations
Devonta Anderson mentioned that although he recognized he had areas for personal development, he still thought the show’s editing was unfairly highlighting their “conflict conversations” so much that their relationship seemed quite adversarial whereas in reality it wasn’t the case at all.
“There were a lot of times we had growth ones—I’m a guy who hates conflicts, so I usually just ignore them, and I’m like, ‘I will sort it out later,’ but this experiment really exposed that,” he spoke. “And that’s why you saw even more of our relationship, we aimed at having more intimate conversations, or more direct talks that the audience might have disliked. But is was like, that was the very reason this whole thing.”
Besides that, Devonta disclosed a number one issue that was cut out from the final version: their mutual decision not to have sex. “The whole intimacy thing, why we weren’t doing that, was left out,” he mentioned. “And that’s a big conversation topic on the internet where it’s just like, that was a very specific conversation that happened in the pods, which gives reason to that.”
Despite the rumors and the portrayal of the season, Devonta has no ill feelings. “Hindsight, it is what it is. I have no harsh feelings about it,” he said.

Megan explained, “I was initially going with the idea that opposites attract but still, I just have some doubts,” and both of them started crying. “If I had known this then, I would not have wanted to get married and put us through it.”
Jordan revealed that he regretted showing Megan his son Luca and said, “I feel like she doesn’t love the real me, and this is the closure that I need.”
Megan confessed the ordeal made her “wondering if I’m really the mommy type. Maybe I am too focused on my own life.”

“We’ll have a bright future, don’t worry, I want to marry you,” Marissa assured Ramses in one of those intense moments. He said in return, “I get that love is a kind of gamble.
Although, Ramses was worried about their differences and that included his stance on the military. Besides, he also wondered if love alone was enough for the two of them to keep a marriage going. “Just from being married myself, seeing other relationships and hearing from other married individuals,” he added, “I just don’t think that love is enough on its own… There have to be other things that work, too.”
Marissa gave it a go trying to align her points with his but that was too little too late and for her it was like hitting rock bottom as she cried. “I don’t think you should’ve come to this experience,” she told him. “How could I feel so sure? And you’re not? It sucks, I want you to choose me.” Thinking over their break-up, she said, “This is probably the most terrible time in my life.”
Tyler Francis and Ashley Adionser: Divorced

Laura, at the reunion, also said that she has someone new in her life, but she did not disclose his identity.
Izzy Zapata Jr. and Stacy Snyder: Broke Up
Izzy Zapata Jr. and Stacy Snyder’s relationship got over before they got married as seasons five of Love Is Blind went airing. Even though they had a few difficulties, including Izzy’s initial attraction to Johnie Maraist and Stacy’s very high standards for her lifestyle, in the end, Stacy decided not to marry.
