Insider says they are not “on the same page” and a breakup is likely
Reunion of Lori Loughlin and Mossimo Giannulli is out of the question. “People close to Lori and Mossimo have been aware that the couple has been in a very difficult situation for the past year,” a source told Us Weekly on Thursday. “The news is not a surprise to the people around them. The time has not been easy for Lori. She is broken.”
The insider revealed that the separation was first suggested by Lori, as she thought “a break could do some good,” but “they are not on the same page” anymore. “They will not get back together – at the moment there is no possibility of that – and will eventually separate,” the source also pointed out. Meanwhile, Giannulli “has been going out on dates,” whereas Loughlin “has not.”
Separation confirmed; sightings spark speculation
Page Six gave confirmation that the Full House star, 61, and Mossimo Giannulli, 62, had separated after 28 years of marriage, on Oct. 2. A statement from a spokesperson said although “no legal proceedings to end the marriage were underway,” the couple had been “living apart.”
Loughlin was spotted having dinner with James Tupper, the ex of Anne Heche, one day before the split news was released. The two ate at The Bird Streets Club in West Hollywood, where the Hallmark actress, while they waited for the valet, wrapped her arm around her A Christmas Blessing co‑star for a brief but warm hug.
Mossimo seen with stylist; she clarifies “bad timing”
That was the time when the designer sharply contrasted with stylist Hannah Harrison just several hours after the announcement of his separation from Loughlin. To put a stop to the gossip, Harrison wrote a message to Us Weekly: “I think it was the worst timing. Honestly, I didn’t know his separation had been announced when I went to the [G/FORE Supply] store.”
She said, “He was introducing me to the guys there so I could pull clothes [for Giannulli’s brand G/FORE]… We did not travel in one car. We were in different cars. We were not together [and] we are not a couple. We are friends. He was just meeting me at the store.”
Daughters stay neutral, prioritize peace
During their marriage, Loughlin and Giannulli had two daughters — Isabella Rose, 27, and influencer Olivia Jade, 26 — who “aren’t taking sides” as a result of the breakup. “Both of them are very fond of their parents and simply wish them happiness,” a source told People on Thursday, emphasizing the girls don’t experience any “drama or resentment.” The insider went on to say, “They have witnessed the hard work that their mother and father have done through the years, and they are determined to keep things peaceful and maintain a close bond as a family.” Ultimately, the sisters “just want everyone to be OK.”
