According to sources close to Travis Scott that were revealed by Variety, the rapper faced a constant swarm of both paparazzi and eager fans throughout his time in Paris. It is said that due to continuous attention given to him by fans, Scott got mad with his bodyguard as he felt that he was not providing enough security and safety. As a result, several videos emerged online showing how Scott begged paparazzi and fans respectively to give him some space.

PARIS PROSECUTOR CONFIRMS NO CHARGES
The prosecutor’s office in Paris has confirmed that there will be no charges filed against Travis Scott as it was said that there wasn’t enough characterization of an offense committed so as warranting legal action. The decision followed Friday morning arrest of the rapper outside the upmarket George V hotel situated near famous Champs Elysees Avenue within Paris. Scott made headlines on Friday after getting into a scuffle with a security officer at a hotel synonymous with luxury services across France, if not Europe at large. The incident, however, remains unclear as media reports only indicate that Scott got into a fight with one of his security personnel within the hotel’s premises. When the police tried to mediate in their arguments, one of them picked up his phone and dialed 5:00 am local time.
When news reached out to the George V for comment, a representative said “Investigations are still ongoing.” On the other hand, Scott’s representative provided a comment stating that they were working with Parisian officials on this matter directly. “We are in direct communication with the local Parisian authorities to swiftly resolve this matter and will provide updates when appropriate,” reads part of the statement. The information by local media channels was later confirmed by The Paris Prosecutor’s Office who said that police were called to break up an altercation at their hotel. Yet despite this morning’s episode, it has been decided not to press charges against him thereby showing clearly that authorities perceived the case as being too minor for further legal processes.
DISPUTE OVER SECURITY CONCERNS
A source close to Travis Scott disclosed that he had an argument over his bodyguard due to safety concerns. Scott had reportedly been “chased and harassed by paparazzi” for several days in Paris without adequate protection, leading to his frustration and eventual confrontation. No casualties resulted from the altercation; hence it means that Scot is almost off since he is expected to be released soon after they finish dealing with his problem. The ongoing Olympics in Paris have seen Travis Scott visit the city. The United States men’s basketball semi-finals against Serbia on Thursday evening saw him at the game, enjoying and supporting his team just before that incident.
Some of the local mass media reported that some eyewitnesses who were present during the clash said that Scott seemed to be very drunk. In addition, Scott was alleged to have refused to take a breathalyzer test when asked to do so. A staff member at George V hotel backed these claims and said that he was drunk upon arrival Travis Scott had previously been arrested for disorderly intoxication and trespassing following a fight on a yacht in Miami Beach, Florida back in June. After being bailed out, Scott paid $500 for disorderly intoxication fine and additionally $150 as a citation for trespassing. This occurrence added to the rapper’s legal problems, making him come into spotlight of authorities due to his conduct.
