TKK Podcast Guest C.KHiD Controversy Revelation | YouTube Song Creator Says Chris Brown Stole ‘Ayo’

In the music industry, only the bravest and most talented survive. Among the giants of hip-hop, Chris Brown and Tyga stand out as global icons. Both are celebrated for their chart-topping hits and undeniable talent. However, behind the glitz and glamor, there is a shadow of controversy behind the authenticity of one of their songs.

Rumors have swirled for years about the potential of Chris Brown stealing the platinum song “AYO” from one of South Carolina’s top rappers, C.KHiD.    The singer, who accrued more than 21-million-views on YouTube never responded to the small-talk on reddit & other sites.

However, years later fans are finding an answer to the rumors, directly from C.KHiD.  The topic was openly discussed by the song creator himself during a recent YouTube podcast video[view here] with the TKK (The Kuldesac Krew) radio.

New Interview With one Artist Chris Brown Robbed

Opening up with Elena Charis of TKK Exclusive, the YouTube creator said that he noticed copying of ideas from him by the Billboard chart-topper.   This includes events even before the issues with “AYO,” where the South Carolina rapper said he realized a  “pattern.”

First, C.KHiD said that Chris Brown suddenly appeared at a Los Angeles hair braider’s shop shortly after he  shared a video getting his braids done on a vlog.

Stalking his Victims

“I dropped a vlog getting my hair braided in LA; suddenly Chris Brown showed up to the braider, got his hair braided, ” said C.KHiD in the TKK interview.

He also shared another incident surrounding a clothing line company that sponsored his music videos.

He continues on this saying, “I had a clothing line in my ‘One Fast Life’ video, that was relatively new [at the time] called Artistic Creations from the Bay Area in California.”

He adds, “I loved their clothing. They were rocking with me because I was doing millions of views… And suddenly Chris Brown shows up to get their clothing.”

C.KHiD believes that all of these things happening wasn’t a coincidence.   No other music artist did it.  Just Chris Brown, who now has a multi-platinum and grammy-nominated song with the same chorus as his own.

“I just don’t see how all those things could happen coincidentally right after I did it.  And then I had the AYO song and that was the biggest nod [sign],” he says to TKK’s Elena Charis before adding, “I just don’t see how all those things could happen coincidentally right after I did it.”

C.KHiD breaks down the format and concept of his “AYO” single as well in the interview. The original release, which was written nearly one year before Chris Brown’s major-label version, simply repeats “AYO” before going into painting a picture of positive summertime vibes.

C.KHiD said that he was the first singer with such a chorus and challenges anyone to find another exact match beyond his and Chris Brown’s songs.

3 Matching songs titles, but always after C.KHiD did it…

Additionally, there were other song ideas he believes Chris Brown copied from him but it was less direct.  The SC rapper believes the infringement revolves more so around the chorus & conceptual-duplication.

C.KHiD mentioned that he released a song called “Yeah, Yeah” which has over 3 million views on the Youtube platform. Chris Brown released “Yeah 3x” shortly after.   It also has an eerily similar chorus.

Another C.KHiD song idea titled “Mona  Lisa Lisa” was also copied. Chris  Brown came out with “Monalisa” shortly after his own release,  which according to C.KHiD, was written as a raunchier version that simply flopped.

Not a single song title of Chris Brown that matches C.KHiD, was released before C.KHiD did it.  The odds are,  the ‘smoke signals‘ were real based on this statistic.  However, C.KHiD recently found concrete evidence of a direct connection between his music and Chris Brown.

So how did Chris Brown learn about C.KHiD’s song “AYO?”

It was through Kevin McCall.  A former football player turned songwriter, who started to write music for Chris Brown.

McCall learned about C.KHiD after visiting the viral 2010 Youtubr’s “AYO” producer, Ross McPherson. In this meetup he would ask McPherson, aka Roscoe Beats, about what’s trending on the internet. The producer shared information & music from his ‘viral’ friend  on YouTube, C.KHiD.

Since he ‘retired’ from the hip-hop industry, C.KHiD has been busy entering different kinds of business ventures.  He concludes the interview by saying the most important part of this situation for him is receiving credit for his artworks.

C.KHiD also mentions relaunching his website CKHID.com soon and may create a platform to allow new artists a safe place to publish their content; growing from his experience vs major labels and popular artists.
