2023; A Record-Breaking Year for Paycom

According to the venue spokesman, in 2023, Paycom Center is expected to smash a record by hosting 52 events inclusive of 29 touring shows. However, this number could have been higher if it were not for summer construction and upgrade projects to install new seats and scoreboards in the center.

Before then, 2022 had a record high of 37 concerts to play in the arena. The year broke the 2013 record in which the facility had hosted 29 concerts. Notably, this arena is also the home venue of the OKC Thunder Professional Basketball Team.

Some of the shows that stood out in 2023 included a stand-up comedy featuring Chris Rock and Dave Chappelle, which sold out early in January. It was also on the top ten list of the most attended shows of the 21st century in the US with over 17, 000 in attendance.

Additionally, the venue hosted one of the largest Latin concerts in May featuring Grupe Firme with over 6,000 fans in attendance. However, the biggest Latin concert in the arena occurred when Luis Miguel graced the venue with his presence and attracted over 10,500 fans at the Paycom Center a few weeks after the Grupe Firme show.
