Rumer Willis revealed that she had a difficult time to manage her solo parenting.
The Sorority Row actress had a candid talk about her 2-year-old daughter, Louetta, whom she shares with ex Derek Thomas, and parenting as a single mom.
“Just had a good cry in the woods. Some days being a single mom is hard,” Rumer posted along with a video on her Nov. 19 Instagram Stories in which she can be seen wiping away tears. “She is not hard (ever), but some days, doing everything can be alone.”

Rumer Willis, the actress and singer, has decided to see the bright side of her single parenting ordeal despite the days that are tough to bear.
The 37-year-old who has been very open about her giving the first priority to her daughter Louetta after her break with ex Derek Thomas last August, shared an emotional Instagram video in which she ended it with a smile and a thumbs up to the camera, indicating that she is still going.
Her personal thoughts also reached further. Rumer, the first child of Bruce Willis and Demi Moore, additionally replied to a follower’s query regarding her decision to continue breastfeeding her 2-year-old daughter Louetta, thereby giving more revelation as to how she is handling motherhood in her own way.

“Breastfeeding has been such a fantastic experience and I would encourage any woman to just keep going,” Rumer Willis informed later on her Instagram Stories. “It can be really hard in the very beginning, and I’m aware that I’m kind of a bit of a situation that’s not normal.”
Thanks to a viral video of her Instagram Story wherein she talked about her breastfeeding journey, The House Bunny alum was bombarded with negative comments first last month but she has mostly ignored the backlash. Rumer stated that she feels nursing will continue to be a source of good health for Louetta in the future, thus she is more confident in her decision to raise the child in a way that is most suitable for them.
Rumer Willis Explains Why She’s Still Breastfeeding — and How Long She’ll Continue
Rumer Willis proudly revealed that she thinks breastfeeding is still providing her 2-year-old daughter Louetta with the necessary nutrients.
“Just the other day she was in school and there was a cold going around, and a lot of the other kids got it very badly,” she told her Instagram followers. “And I feel like because she still breastfeeds, she didn’t get it as bad. Of course, it’s more for comfort than nutrition now, but there is something very special about it.”
However, Rumer confessed she is only thinking about gradually stopping breastfeeding.
“One part of me is sure that I can even go until she’s 3, while the other part of me feels like I can start my own body replenishing,” she shared, mentioning that she has acid reflux and general health issues which she cannot solve entirely while nursing. “So it’s a compromise. I’m getting an instinct for it every day.”
