Rick Ross & Trick Trick Settle Their Beef Onstage

Rick Ross and Trick Trick’s Reconciliation

The fans of the American rapper Rick Ross and Canadian rapper Drake have for a long time entertained the probability that the two might never see eye to eye because of the nature of conflicts. Yet, the latest events boost hopes especially when Rick Ross took some significant developments to move on from bad blood remaining within themselves. Now for those not in the know, rapper Rick Ross has been beefing with Detroit rapper Trick Trick since the year twenty fourteen. Things heated up after the Summer Jamz concert in Detroit when Trick Trick was accused of stopping Ross from taking the stage. The news from HipHopDX claimed that Ross was threatened by some 100 people, led by Trick Trick himself, who had declared a ‘no fly zone’ and meted out this violent action on him.
This violence, as reported, appears to have been triggered by Ross’ supposed disrespect to the city of Detroit.

Nevertheless, it can be said with relief that the history of tussles over the years with Rick Ross and Trick Trick is over and done with. The efforts towards this end were mainly spearheaded by Michael ‘Harry O’ Harris who happens to be one of the founding members of the Death Row Records. Harris managed to mediate the conflict in between the two and help the feuding parties in harmony once again. It was on Tuesday September 17, during the Community First Action Concert held in Pontiac Michigan, where the salvation took place. Seen as the last straw to the protracted feud between Rick Ross and Trick Trick, this concert was arranged by Harris and thus the drama was appropriate. Harris spoke to the audience and brought the two rappers to the stage where they embraced one another in the view of onlookers.

The Moment of Reconciliation

One of the most heartwarming moments of the night occurred when, after the embrace, Rick Ross performed his hit track from 2010, “I’m Not A Star.” This moment felt symbolic, as Ross’ lyrics echoed his larger-than-life persona, yet here he was, showing humility by squashing an old beef. The performance marked not just a musical highlight, but a significant personal victory for Ross, who has been embroiled in various conflicts throughout his career.

While reconciliation with Trick Trick is a cause for celebration, Rick Ross still, however, has other numerous wrappers on his head that remain unwrapped. Notably, the most emotionally compelling one relates to his former spouse, Tia Kemp. Recently, Kemp has made several shocking allegations regarding Ross whom she used to date. Kemp, for her part, said that Ross has been sending people to do such things which only aggravated their current situation. These sentiments have some weight and have only served to sweeten Ross’ already tarnished image suggesting that even if this feud is over, there is likely more trouble ahead.

This public friendship with Trick Trick may suggest that Rick Ross has undergone some changes regarding the management of the relevant conflicts, however, it does not eliminate the obstacles that he still faces within himself and in his professional life. The allegations made by Tia Kemp in particular are very disturbing considering the attempt by Ross to smoothen relationships recently. Many fans are rather more optimistic that this negative peace with Trick Trick should attract more positive change that will be accompanied by further good peace development. Ross’s ability to manage control over other such conflicts will largely define how the current situation will transform in the future.

Mending Ties with Trick Trick

Most recently, rapper Rick Ross has reached out to fans on social media regarding his relationship with Detroit-based rapper Trick Trick after many years of being at odds with him. “I want to take time out and salute the ones really making a difference in the community,” Ross began. Bringing up the efforts made by Michael “Harry O” Harris, a co-founder of the Death Row Records and the development of this campaign helped a lot in uniting the latter hip hop stars. “The big homie Harry O, what you doing with Community First, I love it,” Ross told. He shared how astonishing the situation was considering that Harry O put him on a plane to the event, while Trick Trick brought him up on stage.

Ross recalling the longstanding tussle had this to say: “I am sure everybody knows me and Trick Trick had our differences for over a decade.” However, he emphasized the positive turn of events, highlighting how they’ve moved beyond their conflict. “Here we are, just moving forward, doing big things in the community,” he continued. Ross then teased some future activities after saying: “We got some more big things coming.”

Addressing the OVO Incident

When celebrating the settlement of this feud, Ross was able to devote a few minutes to one more quarrel – with fans of OVO. During an appearance on Yung Miami’s Caresha Please, Ross recounted the events surrounding the altercation earlier this year. His attitude toward the situation seemed relaxed, brushing it off as minor.
“We got our paper, we got to the jet and, as a matter of fact, we went and had some Wingstop, so that was light work,” he told Yung Miami.
Ross stated that however such a tussle may be annoying and inconvenient, he himself was not affected by it one bit. “I ain’t even tripping,” he said with emphasis, that was just history. He said that afterward, their interaction was rather productive, and in no time, they were back to work. “We had a conversation, ‘Let’s get back to the money,’” he said, showing that he prioritized moving forward and focusing on what really matters—his hustle.

Quite interestingly, Ross explained how most of his ‘connections’ requisite for work were more hurt than he was regarding what happened. “Yeah, all my homies that usually travel with me them n***as was upset, angry. They were more angry than us,” Ross revealed, showing how he maintained a calm perspective despite the tension. Looking at Rick Ross’ comments about the reconciliation with Trick Trick and the incident on the OVO panel again makes evident an equally typical way of dealing with issues — the resolution without losing the bigger picture in mind. These quotes further suggest that while controversies may spring up, Ross tends to push things forward, whether it is by settling scores that have been in existence for a decade or more, or simply not fretting over such insignificant matters any longer.
