It was on Sunday (July 12) during this match that the two of them saw their time for leisure activity together, which can seldom be afforded in their otherwise very busy life. The couple also brought with them Prince George, 12, and Princess Charlotte, 11, their children, to witness this grand sports event.

Kate, on the Wimbledon 2026 day trip, 44 years old, wore an extremely charming green dress which had the detail of a partially-shoulder showing style part. She enhanced the outfit with taupe heels and a bag that perfectly matched. Her little girl, Charlotte, also dressed up nicely for the big occasion with a beautiful blue dress and white espadrilles. As for the royal family’s sons, both William and George looked dashing in suits and ties. When the Prince of Wales chose to wear a grey suit paired with a blue-toned shirt, his son, George, preferred the classic black one.

A British Monarchy Custom at Wimbledon
William and Kate’s Wimbledon appearance with their kids is part of a royal tradition. After all, the couple, who also have 8-year-old Prince Louis, took their eldest son, Prince George, to witness the prestigious event in London in July 2022.
A year later, their daughter, Charlotte, also joined them to watch the men’s singles final in July 2024, after spending six months receiving treatment for cancer.

The Princess of Wales took to X, formerly known as Twitter, in January 2025 to reveal she is now cancer-free. “I wanted to take the opportunity to say thank you to The Royal Marsden for looking after me so well during the past year. My heartfelt thanks go to all those who have quietly walked alongside William and me as we have navigated everything. We couldn’t have asked for more.
The care and advice we have received throughout my treatment has been exceptional,” Kate wrote on X. She added, “Lots of people have asked me why I’m doing this challenge, and partly it’s personal. I’m so grateful to be here, to be strong enough to walk these hills. But more importantly, it’s to give something back.
