Laveen

What you need to know

Laveen Village located in the southeastern most part of Phoenix is a growing suburb with the largest age group being 20-44.  Laveen has a mixture of farmland leftover from the 1880s still but is growing increasingly urban with more commercial developments.  An iconic event in Laveen is the annual barbeque that has been held since 1950 and is used to raise money for the March of Dimes.  The barbeque is now hosted at Corona Ranch and includes a cow milking competition, country music, and more!  Don’t forget to stop by some of the family-run farms too for delicious pie and other treats.
