Perez Hilton’s family has revealed that his children were present just moments before that horrific livestream and “fled” with his sister when it became clear that he was “experiencing a severe mental health crisis.”
As you may have seen or heard by now, 48-year-old Perez was hospitalized on Tuesday after he appeared to cut himself while bare-naked on TikTok Live.
The father-of-three also made several concerning remarks during the stream before the Miami-Dade County Sheriff’s Office arrived at his Florida home after fielding several calls from worried social media users.
Perez was admitted for a reason relating to his health, and a few hours later, disturbing footage revealing the bleeding star was shared online by social media users.
Perez Hilton’s Manager Releases Statement After Livestream
His manager, Dante Rusciolelli, and Rebekah Kochan made a statement to Variety and other media outlets stating they were aware of the disturbing content being online involving their client, Perez Hilton.
“We have been trying to call him repeatedly, but he doesn’t seem to be answering his phone at all.” Obviously, we are hoping that Mr. Perez is well and not in any serious condition; the same applies to his family.

Perez Hilton’s Family Shares Health Update
His family also dropped a statement on the celebrity blogger site on Wednesday, which said that Perez is “now able to communicate” and has been overwhelmed by the support he has received since the unfortunate incident.
“Our family would like to once again thank everyone for their incredible outpouring of prayers, love, and support for Perez. Your amazing kindness and understanding during this heartbreaking time has meant more to us than words can express.
This has been an immeasurably difficult and heartbreaking time for us, exacerbated by the lack of information being shared with us,” the statement read. “Pleased know that we have been able to confirm that Perez is, in fact, able to communicate, which has brought us great comfort.
We hope that all of you, too, will think of him and say a prayer for him as he begins the long, slow way to get well. We promise you that we will keep you well informed when the time is right for more details to be shared with the public.
Please respect our privacy and give us some space and time for Perez to recover from the accident. We are very thankful that you have always supported us with love and understanding even though our family members went through such an emotionally challenging phase at work.
This incident happened when the kids left their home. Perez, his mother, and the children of three different ages (13, 11, and 8) were living together. They have taken care of him and raised him after he became a parent to his surrogate-begotten children.
Family Provides More Details About What Happened
Law enforcement officers confirmed that Perez was alone in the house when the disturbing stream occurred, but his family released another statement on Thursday that provided more insight into what occurred.
The statement continues, “Our family sincerely appreciates the overwhelming love, support, and prayers you have shared with us after the heart-rending happening of which we were the victims. We were completely overwhelmed and have just come to grips with the events that took a few days and were so difficult.”
The family said. The family’s statement goes on to say Perez’s children, niece, and sister just stayed at the house before the public incident took place. After they found out that Perez, having serious mental health issues, had been harming himself, they immediately abandoned the scene to protect the children from witnessing anything else.
We are doing everything we can to get the kids the help they desperately need to get over the trauma. Part of getting well is for them to get back into a place where they feel safe and secure and normal again.
The only reason why the children’s home is in such a vulnerable position that even a minor disturbance could lead to something bad happening again is because of this trauma.
To the media, paparazzi, content creators, and, indeed, all, please respect the dignity and privacy and, most importantly, the safety of the children of Perez if you would please avoid the place where they are staying and, as you were able to enter this area, just leave it right away! Let them get time and personal space for themselves without any public attention and intrusion during this very heartbreaking period of time.
