A new operations center has opened in Grapevine for Paycom, a leading HR and payroll technology solutions provider based in Oklahoma City. Construction on the 14-acre, 150,000-square-foot center began in 2019. The campus is expected to employ 1,000 people in North Texas.
The operations center is Paycom’s second-largest office outside of its Oklahoma City headquarters. The brand-new operations center in Grapevine leaves Paycom plenty of room for growth in the region.
In a statement, Chad Richison, Paycom founder and CEO, said, “As we continue to grow, it is vital for us to attract and retain dedicated talent to develop cutting-edge products, deliver outstanding customer service and transform how people do business.”
Operational Consolidation Across the Dallas-Ft. Worth Metroplex
The campus features a fitness center with trainers, sports teams, wellness coaches, and a cafeteria. A large data center is also included in the office. The new location is designed to consolidate Paycom’s operations in North Texas, which were previously scattered across Lewisville, Fort Worth and out to Farmers Branch.
A variety of departments utilize the campus, including technology, human resources, and corporate functions for Paycom, which has clients in every state.
Chad Richison also told those who attended the ceremony that celebrated the opening of the new office that the campus will eventually include a second building.
Paycom exceeds $1B in Year of Record Growth
The Grapevine office opened at a time when Paycom is experiencing record growth. Over $1.05 billion worth of revenue was generated by the company in 2021, an increase of over 25% from 2020. Its total workforce increased by 28% during the same period, reaching nearly 5,400. Chad Richison founded Paycom in 1998 and took it public on the New York Stock Exchange in 2014. Paycom became a part of the S&P 500 in the first part of 2020.
CEO Chad Richison wrote in Paycom’s 2021 annual report to investors that, “Strong demand continues to boost our sales momentum and record new client sales in 2021 have positioned us to deliver another year of rapid growth in 2022. To meet the robust demand for our product and support our high expectations for long-term future growth, we will continue to recruit top talent and invest in our technology, marketing, and world-class customer service.”
