Influencer Paola Caldera Dies at 30 After Leukemia Battle

Influencer Paola Caldera has died at the age of 30 after a long battle with leukemia, a post on her family’s TikTok account, shared last week, reads: “Today we say farewell to a person who was the light of our lives with her strength, her love and her wisdom, even in the hardest times,” they wrote. They also added “Despite that it was leukemia that took away her body, the one that she has left on our hearts is the one that will never disappear. We remain with her example of bravery, her limitless kindness and the moments that will always be accompanying us. Sleep well … your light will continue to shine in each of us.”

Sharing Her Life and Diagnosis

Paola Caldera with over 104,000 followers on TikTok was, on a regular basis, sharing video snippets of her personal life with her partner and two children aged 3 and 8 years. These videos were her daily life in the form of vlogs, for instance, a May 2023 Walmart run, to even sharing her family’s emotional updates.
She found out she had leukemia towards the end of 2024 and was thus followed by a hospital visit due to a headache that lasted for several days and refused to go away. In order to inform her fans and to receive their support, she recorded and shared her symptoms and treatment progression.

Courageously Sharing Her Journey

Paola Caldera dealt with her illness with faith and thankfulness. “Here we are with God’s difficulties, we are going through them well and we will continue with the same spirit!” she wrote in one post. “Thank you all for your nice messages and this new year will certainly be a year of updates about my health for you.”
For nearly a year, she openly documented her treatment and was frequently sharing her posts from the hospital. In June, she gave a positive update to her followers, informing that she got home “after being in hospital for quite a while”, hence she was able to go back home “for quite some time.”

Confirmed by the Family

Paola Caldera’s family made an announcement about her passing away, a very sad and difficult situation, in the beginning of September.
“You are the daughter of my life, I will remember you with the brightest smile and above all with the great desire to live for your children. It is not goodbye but see you later,” they commented on her TikTok profile.
Her TikTok page was changed to reflect the passing of a loved one: “TikTok to remember a sister, a daughter, and a mother who was deeply loved. Sister, I love you. God bless you.”
