Organic Spotify Promotion Saves Lives, and That’s a Fact!

Do you know what drives the music industry forward? Not the music itself, but the people. And I am not talking only about musicians, I am talking also about listeners. Listeners are as important as musicians are. If there will be no listeners, there will be no musicians, no one to listen to the music. And we can clearly see that the world of music is all about the end consumer, the listener, the majority of our planet. Yes, the number of musicians is high, but the number of listeners is far greater. And I don’t know who is reading this, a musician, a producer, or a listener, but I will share my thoughts with you about organic Spotify promotion.

No, this is not a sales pitch, this is not a sales text. I am just a concerned listener who is interested in music, and thrives on good and high-quality tracks. For me, the music is extremely essential in life. If it wasn’t for music, I don’t know how I could have survived the last year. The year was nuts, especially in my life. So many changes, and not all of them are good. But the music helped me, carried me through. That’s why I am so passionate about it. And this will not be the text that shames musicians for using the promotion, it will be the text of praising, where I will ask you, if you are a musician, to promote your music. Why so?

Because I haven’t heard it. I haven’t heard your music. Despite the fact that I have 3000 tracks in my Spotify library, I am sure that your track isn’t one of them. And I want it to be there. One of the goals of artists who upload music to Spotify is to get more Spotify plays. I want high-quality music and I understand that Spotify algorithm aren’t the best in this department, in department of finding you and great music among newcomers. Sometimes those algorithm mess up music by a very popular musician too. For example, half a year ago, the latest album by ABBA was released. And what do you think? In every possible chart, this album is one of the most popular in the last year, but I haven’t heard it. Despite the fact that I have more than 20 tracks by this performer in my library. How would you explain that?

And for me, as for the average music listener, it doesn’t matter how you appear in my library. Either with your hard work, or with music promotion. I don’t care. I just want your track in my library. Please, promote your music, I want it, millions of people don’t know it, but they want it. Don’t wait for the bad moment to come, don’t wait for desperate times. Promote your music now, and make everyone happy – you, me, the whole world. It is the cruelest thing a musician can do to the listener – hide his music from them. Don’t hide your masterpieces, shave them, and we will love them. Have some faith in your music, because I have it. Do the promotion, and everyone will be happy. Trust me, you will not regret it.
