North West said to be already building her music career, but the 13-year-old girl has another dream of getting a job in the future.
North West said she would be happy to have a regular job next year after turning 14. The daughter of Kim Kardashian and Kanye West, she mentioned this in an interview with Dazed magazine recently.
It is quite a privilege for North West that her parents, Kim Kardashian and Ye (formerly known as Kanye West), presumably have a net worth that may be more than 2 million dollars.
However, she wishes to work, and whenever the opportunity comes, she will choose to work it out in the state of California, it seems.
North is only 13, but it seems to the casual observer that for a 13-year-old, she is already quite into the music business. She takes part in concerts, performs, and records her own songs as well.
The girl who has already performed on stage and released music has an interest in working in something besides the entertainment industry.
“Work still appeals a lot to me,” she told Dazed. When asked about the possibility of working at Starbucks, North replied, “Maybe next year at Starbucks!”

North West is going to turn 14 next year. This is also the age at which laws in California permit teenagers to work, if their work will meet their requirements and other limitations.
In essence, her remark is just an expression of a desire to be involved in working regularly, rather than hinting at having already started a work preparation plan to be part of Starbucks.
With her high-profile and very influential family around, working in a public place with customer interaction might present her with some real-life difficulties.
However, there is no indication that North herself has discussed those potential difficulties.
Instead, the teenager appears interested in experiencing a different kind of working life despite already having opportunities in the entertainment industry.
North shared her feelings in a fresh chat with Dazed. She told the reporter: “Work still appeals a lot to me.”
She was dreaming aloud when she mentioned working at Starbucks and said: “Maybe next year at Starbucks!” However, North might not like it, as she probably has several other reasons.
North West’s Famous Family Could Make a Regular Job Difficult
Though it’s legal to work from the age of 14 in California, it still takes until the age of 16 before one can work at a Starbucks café.
The additional reason is that she is from the family of the most famous people the world knows; security issues would no doubt play a significant role; and then the crowds would most likely take turns waiting their turn for the camera just to get a few pictures of her.
Therefore, it really looks like it is a teenager who is unaware of the impact of her public life, how much attention she receives in the media, and the strength of influence she exerts over the public that is revealed by the comment, which might lead one to assume that she is not yet fully conscious of who she is to the world.
North West Is Already Building Her Music Career
On one level, she might not be fit for the Starbucks counter, but she has already shown she is more experienced in the field.
For instance, on a day at one of the major music festivals earlier in the year, North did the performance in a way that nobody could have imagined if we didn’t know what kind of daughter of a pop star that was. In that context, she was able to admit that actually she felt more at ease as a solo artist than as a band member.
“It seems like I’ve always wanted it that way,” she told the outlet, and she went on to say, “It’s my life, and I’ve had that for the longest time.”
Apart from the above things, she said that she was fond of dancing and that if the opportunity was given to her, she would have loved to dance for a long time. She recounted her initial experiences very differently: spontaneous and exciting, but now she concentrates more on refining her moves and rehearsing.
For her, dreaming is just like going for her usual workout routine. “I’m not one that likes taking it easy a lot. The way I want to work is to get the job done. That could be like going to my dancing rehearsal, and straight afterwards going to the studio,” she said.
“Alternatively, it would be my favorite to be at a very big concert.” When Dazed asked, “worst piece of advice” that North had received, North was quick to respond.
“The worst one is to begin one’s career later,” she replied. “I just don’t wanna make it that way,” she added with a laugh.
North West and Molly Santana Perform Together
North was the first daughter of a famous celebrity to break into the music industry in a big way.
She was recently joined by another singer, Molly Santana, as a guest during the female artists’ stage at Rolling Loud, where the latter conveyed the message to the younger female artists that you are free to love and not hate each other.
“We could show that women can make music together,” North emphasized. “It always used to be either that or one-upmanship, but it was quite different with me.”
Previously, I had really not imagined, to put it mildly, what would happen to my relationship with a girl if we had started to really clash.
In that particular dialogue, she was quite open, genuine, yet humble. Besides, she shared her ideas pretty lucidly as to what she wants to do with her abilities to promote the welfare and the development of young women.

North West’s Tour With Molly Santana Was Canceled
North’s growing music career recently suffered a setback when her planned Kimokawaii Tour with Molly Santana was canceled shortly before it was due to begin.
The tour had been scheduled to start in August, but North and Santana announced that it would no longer go ahead. No reason was given publicly for the cancellation.
Although it’s a disappointment, North is still making music and has been busy releasing her first EP called N0rth4evr
From what she said to Dazed, it looks like she has been focused mainly on promoting her own career and coming up with different ways to make creativity an integral part of her life.
Even so, right now it seems that another goal is on North’s priority list: having a real job.
