Nicholas Brendon Refutes Allegations Amid Legal Issues
More private court papers surfaced in which the contractor, Stephen Britton, accuses that the men working for him were so scared of the working at Nicholas’ house that at some point they decided not to continue. In written documents, he told the court, “Nicholas Brendon, through several stories, I don’t know which is actually true, but they both admitted, him and his assistant, Theresa Fortier, that the tracking device was put on my tool bag, and then they replied to the Court, they said that they didn’t put it there.”
Britton also claimed that Fortier was “sleeping on the garage floor in the middle of the day.”
Fortier defended herself before the court by saying, “I just needed some silence because the activity was everywhere and there was this peaceful corner where I could get away and no one could come and ask me questions. Also, I didn’t have to listen to what was going on and I could just take a peaceful nap for a moment and avoid everybody.”
