New York Fashion Week: September 2018 Fall Preview
Designers, models, bloggers, and fashion enthusiasts across the city are prepping for New York Fashion Week September 2018. The week-long event, running from September 6–12, will showcase upcoming as well as distinguished designers in the fashion world.
New York Fashion Week is a staple of the city – it’s an event for aspiring designers, models, photographers, bloggers, and those looking to gain inspiration for their own wardrobe. Be prepared to view designs from Tadashi Shoji, Jeremy Scott, and PH5 to name a few. You can see the full schedule here or here.
Unfortunately, most of the shows are invitation-only or require tickets for entry, so the chances of you seeing your favorite designer are slim unless you have some inside connection. Public shows are still available, though, and you can always offer yourself as a volunteer to get on the inside without paying a cent. If you’d rather be cozied up in bed in your Fenty slippers, you can always watch the shows live online.
There is a good chance you’ll be spotted by street photographers if you’re in the right place at the right time and in the right fashion, so make sure to look your best wherever you go this week!
Fashion shows will be held throughout NYC so it’s hard to keep tabs, but here are some locations where you can find models slaying the catwalk:
- Skylight at Moynihan Station
- Milk Studios
- F.Y.I. at Made
- The Shop at NYFW: The Shows
- Skylight Clarkson Sq.
