Not so long ago, about a year to be exact, the NBA star from the Pacers, Tyrese Haliburton, and his longtime girlfriend got engaged. The lovebirds got their legal marriage license from the local government in Indianapolis yesterday, as per their marriage records, so Haliburton and Jones have become husband and wife legally.
We saw Haliburton wearing a black T-shirt with matching pants, and Jones on the other side dressed in a white cocktail dress, holding a bouquet of flowers as they stood with family and friends outside the courthouse.
Photos of them were posted to Instagram on July 21. It is Jones’ short and sweet caption that commemorates the event: “ It’s (courthouse) official.”

Even though they are officially married, the couple plans to have a big event over the weekend. In fact, Haliburton is so anxious about the big day that he left Jones’ Instagram recap of their trip watching the 2026 World Cup final between Spain and Argentina with a comment saying, “2 more weeks we changing that last name.”
Jones, as a wife-to-be, is already looking forward to becoming a Haliburton, referring to their April 13 anniversary as her ” last anniversary as a Jones ” However, this transition has been bittersweet for the former college cheerleader and Iowa State student athlete who met Haliburton.
This is because of her close friend Makenzi Kern, whom Jones had just lost a short while before, who had passed away at her bachelorette party last month due to undisclosed health complications.
