Are you tired of visiting “malls” in Johor Bahru every holiday?
Johor Bahru is a great place for a holiday or a day trip with its many delicious food, shopping malls and amusement parks. Especially with the development of time, it has now become one of the must-visit attractions for many foreign tourists, especially since Singapore and Johor Bahru are only separated by a bridge, and it is a must-visit place for Singaporeans every week!
Here are some places that I would like to show you that can provide short-term tours so that you can enjoy a relaxing holiday in Johor Bahru.
- Legoland Malaysia and Water Park
Legoland Malaysia Resort can be found at Jalan Legoland. It is divided into several areas. Legoland Malaysia Water Park is one of the most visited areas. The water park offers more than 15 thrill rides and 20 slides, making it a wonderful place to spend a whole day with your family. It takes less than one hour to get to Legoland Malaysia Waterpark. You can reach it by bus or vehicle via the Woodlands Causeway Checkpoint, and the Tuas Second Link Checkpoint.
Wave Pool is the first attraction you will see after you have passed through the gates. The pool is a great place to cool off, or simply relax. The park has 8 water slides. They are all different in terms of their height, intensity and capacity. Some are more suitable for children younger than others, while others can be done in a group and are pure thrills.
Legoland’s most loved attraction is Imagination Station. There are two stations where children can create with DUPLO bricks. You can also fire water jets at them to test your skills. They can also control the flow of water by creating patterns or channels that allow water through. This interactive playground is loved by children of all ages. Legoland Malaysia Water Park makes a great choice on your next trip north of Johor. You will be kept cool by the slides, rides and games.
- Danga Bay
Danga Bay is the largest recreation park in Johor Bahru. It is located in Johor Bahru. It is only five minutes away from the city centre and Singapore. Danga Bay boasts a stunning 180-degree panoramic view of the ocean and the skyline of Singapore.
Danga Bay offers many luxurious and glamorous activities. You will find fine dining options and high-end shops. It is Johor Bahru’s largest recreation area due to the variety of activities it offers.
There are many top-notch restaurants here that serve exquisite cuisine and offer stunning views at night. The area is popular for its romantic appeal for couples. Danga Bay is also a showcase of Johor’s culture. A wider variety of Malaysian cultures can be seen.
Danga City Mall, another mall. Here you can find entertainment and food as well as leisure.
- Johor Premium Outlet
Johor Premium Outlets, located in Indahpura (Kulai District), Johor Bahru. It is the first outlet to sell premium luxury brands in Southeast Asia. Johor Premium Outlet has 130 premium shops and services on its two floors. You can reach it via the Indahpura Expressway Interchange or the North-South Expressway’s Southern Route.
Arriving early allows you to maximize your shopping experience. You will find fewer people and better customer service. There are many benches and rest areas where you can unwind and relax. Johor Premium Outlet is the perfect place to shop for branded goods like shoes and clothing.
- Arulmigu Sri Rajakaliamman Glass Temple
Arulmigu Rajakaliamman is the first and only Hindu temple made of glass in Malaysia. Tourists, especially Hindus, should see this attraction. It is near Jalan Tun Abdul Razak and Jalan Mohd Taib railway lines (or the Tebrau Highway).
It was built in 1922 as a refuge on the land of Sultan Johor. In 1996, the temple was rebuilt and reopened. Guru Bhagawan Sittar was the temple’s chairman and was inspired to decorate it with glass a few more years later. The transformation of the Arulmigushri Rajakaliamman temple began in 2008 and was completed on January 3, 2009. The temple’s exterior and interior are both decorated with glass. It is breathtaking, especially when the sun shines through it. Tourists can visit the glass between 1pm and 5pm.
If you search carefully, you will find that Johor Bahru not only has “malls” for shopping, but also many outdoor attractions. So the question is, how to get from Singapore to Johor Bahru?
