Millie Bobby Brown Unable to Attend Good Morning America Appearance
Millie Bobby Brown had to pass on her appearance on Good Morning America because of a good reason.
The 21-year-old Stranger Things star missed her scheduled time on the show on Monday, December 15, and instead joined the show via video with a Christmas tree behind her to explain to the audience and her co-worker, Noah Schnapp, what happened. After Brown’s video played on the show, Schnapp, also 21, mentioned to the audience that he was sad she couldn’t be there in person.
In the video, Brown stated, “Hello, all of you at GMA, I’m so sorry that I couldn’t make it today.” She also held up an arm that was in a sling and then said, “I fell.”

“I was determined to find a way to participate, even if it meant making Noah’s appearance about me!” said Millie Bobby Brown (new mom) jokingly. “So I asked my longtime co-star/best friend some holiday questions.” One question she asked was, “During the holiday season, what is your family’s favourite holiday tradition/memory?” She then concluded her virtual appearance with “I love you. Good morning.”
On the other side of the screen, Noah Schnapp (who appeared in GMA from the New York City studio) expressed how much he wished Millie were joining him in person at the GMA studio. He went on to describe how his family’s holiday tradition involves playing an amusing word game.

Millie Bobby Brown and Noah Schnapp have developed a really good, close friendship outside of being co-stars on the Netflix series Stranger Things; In fact, Millie even called Noah“a really good friend of mine before she became a mom” and asked him to take on the responsibility of being the godfather to her new baby.
Sitting down with the three women on The View recently, Schnapp reflected on how much it means to him to have been chosen by Millie to be the godfather to her baby. “It’s an honour; it’s really surreal, actually,” Schnapp said. “We’ve been through this whole journey together, and we’ve always talked about it as little kids. When she was little, she said, ‘You are the godfather of my child’”. Now he can say he is her child’s godfather, which is pretty cool.
Millie Bobby Brown Has Had to Miss Big Moments Before Due to Injury
In the past, Millie Bobby brown has also missed some major experiences due to injuries. In 2018, upon reaching the age of 14, Brown suffered from an issue where she split her knee-cap while attending the MTV Movie and TV Awards. In regard to missing out on this opportunity to showcase what she had been working on with her husband, Jake Bongiovi, she uploaded a video onto Instagram explaining her decision, saying, “Hey everyone. This is another important milestone for me; I have never broken a bone before, but now I have split my knee-cap.” She continued on to say, “The doctor instructed me to take it easy, and, therefore, I won’t be able to go to the MTV Awards.”
