Film star of Hallmark, 35 years old, passes away after an incident at a restaurant in Las Vegas where the staff reportedly stopped the CPR: a legal claim.

Lawsuit Alleges Preventable Tragedy

Mike Heslin, a Hallmark star, passed away during his birthday trip to Las Vegas due to a restaurant staff allegedly blocking CPR from being performed on him during his medical emergency, as per a new lawsuit.
The complaint, according to the Daily Mail, says that Scotty Dynamo, Heslin’s husband, alleges in the complaint that staff at Javier’s at the Aria Hotel not only “neglected” the pair but by “failures” in the provision of emergency care, they allowed an “avoidable tragedy” to occur, court documents reveal.
According to the August 30 suit, the Lioness actor was said to be “exhibiting very clear medical emergency signs,” yet the staff went on to neglect and “forcefully interfere” with a worker who attempted to help by giving CPR, the newspaper stated.

Claims of Negligence

Among other things, the suit alleges that the workers of Javier’s after the health crisis did not get an automated external defibrillator (AED) although it was on the premises.
In addition, Heslin’s friends made the claim that they were “forcefully removed” from the resort during the incident.
The complaint states that the restaurant employees are alleged to have prevented other help from the intervention of the witnesses, who, on their part, stated that while attempting to help, they were “threatened with arrest”.

Wrongful Death Lawsuit

According to the complaint, the friends of Heslin said that in an attempt to film the event on their mobile phones they were asked by the workers to “delete” the videos that “demanded” them, and they were not allowed to record.
A suit that was brought in Las Vegas, mentioned the restaurant as the defendant on five counts: wrongful death, loss of consortium, negligence, negligent hiring/retention/training/supervision, and gross negligence, as reported by the Las Vegas Review-Journal.

Response From MGM

In the lawsuit, Heslin’s wife alleged that the death of the actor “a direct and proximate result of Defendants’ acts and omissions” and is seeking over $30,000 in damages, as well as the payment of funeral and punitive damages.
On Monday, in a statement to Page Six, MGM Resorts International, the owner of the Aria Hotel, categorically rejected the accusations.
“We shall respond through the courts as these allegations are far from the truth,” the company said in a statement.
At the same time, Dynamo did not immediately reply to a request for a statement.Lioness' Actor Mike Heslin Dies At 30

Mourning a Soulmate

After Heslin’s sudden death in July, Dynamo sent a heartfelt tribute to his wife via Instagram, informing her that the 35-year-old had died as a result of an “unanticipated cardiac arrest.”
“Michael was a young man, in absolute good health, and the medics are puzzled with no explanation for the occurrence,” Dynamo said. “Upon witnessing your death, my heart shattered into fragments. I wish I had the power to substitute you; in that case, I would be the first person to do it without any second thoughts.”
