Megan Fox Claps Back After Critic Calls Her Sultry Photos “Embarrassing”

Megan Fox is perfectly fine declaring that she is a proud forty-year-old. In fact, the star of Transformers, who recently split from her second spouse, Machine Gun Kelly, to marry her third, Brian Austin Green, proved it by posting several sultry photos of herself in black lingerie to Instagram on July 17.

But one comment in particular from an Instagram user after she posted the photos, saying, “This s–t is so unbelievably embarrassing for a 40-year-old mom to be posting. 16-year-old tumblr s–t,” Megan decided to clap back with a comment of her own, asking the poster, “Which one of my exes,” referencing her previous marriages to Austin Green, Machine Gun Kelly, and ex-husband Dennis Quaid, “is this.”

Megan Fox responds to criticism over her Instagram photos

Megan‍‌‍‍‌ Fox defends herself from negative comments about her Instagram pictures. Before Megan posted the recent Instagram post, she was very open about her feelings towards her own body as well as what society thinks about her, as she was becoming well known.

“At some point during a conversation, you might say, “That person is really ‍‌‍‍‌beautiful. “Their ‍ ‌‍ ‍‌ life must appear so effortless,” she remarked in 2021, in an interview with British GQ, “Probably, they themselves are not that way.”

Truth be told, when she thought about herself, the 40-year-old actress confessed that she was not very pleased with how she looked. In fact, she has a severe self-image problem and many deep feelings of insecurity that prevent her from doing so,” she said.

Megan says self-reflection helped her overcome insecurity

A self-exploration period later allowed Megan to get over some of those feelings of shame and inadequacy that had been leading the actress to negative self-talk in the past, particularly when she was in the initial phases of her Hollywood career.

“You can imagine that the thing that I did most was to reflect on that,” she said in her own words, and explained she had even stopped leaving the house because of her negative perception of her looks, “You can’t help but feel like a victim when you are going through such a situation, obviously.

That’s what you automatically think of the situation and respond, but it’s harmful for you, and being a victim is very miserable.

Apart from this, Megan, who starred in Jennifer’s Body, learned to change those feelings into things that were positive for her, and through this, she was able to get through her life and stop being so negative about herself.

“I have worked hard removing the feeling of being a victim and recognizing that it was a valuable lesson,” she added, “Therefore, it was a purpose for me; I didn’t need to go through the pain ‍anymore.

It’s made me grow into a much more interesting human being than I would have been without that. So, it allows you the space to have gratitude for something that previously you felt persecuted by. That’s the one thing in my life I did do a lot of work on, I do feel free from.”
