Frankie Reflects on Hitting “Rock Bottom”

Frankie Muniz and his wife, Paige Price, the mother of his 5-year-old son Mauz Mosley Muniz, had announced their divorce on July 1, 2026, after nearly six years of marriage and 10 years together; the statement came about two and a half months later.

But for the 40-year-old, there’s also a hopeful aspect. He has said, “The unexpected gift in the middle of the turmoil is that I’ve had nowhere to go to. I’ve had time to be introspective and really self-reflective and to finally see those parts of my life which I need to work on, if my goal is to be a much better version of myself. Not the version I put forward to the public. The real one.”

Muniz shared that he recently came across something that really struck him — “sometimes hitting rock bottom is what shakes you up enough to change” – and such an event can become an impetus for making all the changes you actually need to live your best life.

This thought continued with the race car driver who envisioned that “if I take a look at this moment of my low spirits, five years from now, I will probably have felt so many emotions that this experience will have become like treasure for me,” especially since the only way to reach a better place was through difficult experiences.

Muniz: “This will turn out to be just the beginning. Now is the right moment for me to do the work – the kind of hard-core, boring work that you have to do. My goal is to treat this part like a solid base, not the last goal line. If any of you is in a down mood at the moment too, know that you aren’t the only one and, what is more, you are not broken. Rather, you are in the process of being remade. Let’s continue with it!”

Frankie Muniz Shares His Struggles Online

In the last weeks, Muniz didn’t hide his troubles but revealed them even online. He wrote on X Aug. 26, “Am I being too simplistic if I still think that a broken heart doesn’t necessarily mean a physically aching heart? If so, breaking my back is a preferable choice for me.”

On Sept. 1, he said, “Struggling.” A few days later, he also shared two photos of himself as a child on Sept. 6 with the words, “Sometimes I wished that I could go back to this,” next to the ‍‌‍‍‌pictures.
