According to People, the accused refused to take a plea deal, was charged and pleaded “not guilty”, and a judge rejected applications to reduce or dismiss the charges.

Madeline Gaudreau Keeps Matthew’s Memory Alive Through Their Son

Back in 2025, the couple was having their baby when Matthew died. Madeline gave birth to a baby boy, Tripp Matthew Gaudreau, four months following Matthew’s passing. It is now 19 months. When announcing his birth on “Mommy & Daddy’s World,” the words were written by Mrs. 32 on one message

The words of a mother to the child’s first birthday were heartfelt: “It’s in your smile that I can see my father, the laughter, the strength, and the happiness you bring to this world,” she told her boy Tripp.

Madeline expressed on Good Morning America that the loss of their dad is heartbreaking, since their son was missing so many milestones of his childhood.

From Tripp, it seems he is continuing his father’s path as well. In May, she uploaded photos of him at an ice rink, his first-ever hockey lesson, to her Instagram
page.
