Lance Armstrong paid a loving tribute to his wife, Anna Hansen, through a heartfelt Instagram post when he released sweet words on their fourth wedding anniversary.
Lance, the 54-year-old who retired from cycling, put out touching words to Anna, his beloved, to whom he got married at the Château de la Coste near Aix-en-Provence, France, on 23 May 2022, for the occasion of their fourth wedding anniversary – the very happy marriage to this woman.
‘Happy 4th Anniversary to my beautiful queen Anna,’ Armstrong expressed, followed by two snaps, the former displaying the happy, young couple in the wedding outfits; the latter showing the sports couple wearing cycling gear standing in front of a gorgeous mountain backdrop.

“The last two decades have been filled with ups and downs,” Armstrong wrote in part of his message to Anna, who, besides their two children, shares their life together: Maxwell “Max” Edward (17 years old) and Olivia Marie (15 years old).
“Without your support, I would not have reached where I am today,” he said of Anna, 45 years his junior.
“We have passed some dark times, and we did not let go. A woman always asks me, “How did you balance everything?” My reply is always, “Family.” To my wonderful queen – you are amazing.
We both still want to thank our parents, and we know they would be proud of the lives our children lead and our community. Happy anniversary,” concluded his words.

Armstrong was lucky not to have to wait too long before meeting Anna, as he proposed to his lifelong partner in 2017. They both kept the news hidden from the public eye.
Eventually, they both had the pleasure of unveiling the fact of their wedding plans through a post on social media when Lance shared how he was lucky to be joined by a lovely life partner, Anna, and announced their engagement with the hashtags #anna207 and #LARMSTRONG117.
The big day came just four and a half years ago after their engagement was revealed. Their wedding took place on a very special evening surrounded by the most intimate circle at Château la Coste in France, a wine-making estate. It was in front of their very young kids that they exchanged the vows so many years ago.

The wedding photos from the event, including Lance seeing his wife for the first time and the two of them standing next to their kids, were also shared by Armstrong.
Furthermore, they were shown in the picture of their “best bud,” who happened to be the famous American actor, and their exploration of Château la Coste.
At that time, Lance’s message to his wife was really emotional: “Anna, during the last 14 years I’ve always had you by my side when things turned bad for me, and until my current situation, let me tell you plainly I am a person you can trust.
Were I not to count on your being there with me, I would definitely give up long ago. Hence, I am quite indebted to your presence for my being today just as I am.
It was indeed difficult, but being a team, we overcome difficulties, so we justifiably can be proud of each other and of having done the work together. Also, I feel lucky that life with you is shared.
Your deserting me is the last thing I expect to see in my lifetime, I promise. Our family will become a better place because we are going to get more bonded.”
