Real Housewives of Rhode Island’s Kelsey Swanson has split from her boyfriend of ten years after revealing the breakup in the episode of the Bravo TV series, which aired on Sunday, May 3.

31-year-old Kelsey stated that she thought the relationship had simply “run its course, ” mentioning that her ex-boyfriend had been financially supporting her lifestyle for years and paying for her while he was dividing his time between New England and Florida. Kelsey confessed that it was a lifestyle which no longer fits with the type of future that she is picturing for herself.

Speaking to her friend Liz McGraw, she declared “I don’t think there’s anything more that I am going to receive from this relationship or that could change” adding that a single moment did not make her take the step, on the contrary, it was the accumulation of problems that kept getting worse over time.

“We get along really well, ” she explained. “He said to me, ‘If there’s anything I can do to help, I will.’
