Kate Gosselin was reported to be romantically connected with her ex-bodyguard Steve Neild alongside the long-running rumors.

Kate Plus a Date

A source has revealed to Page Six exclusively that Kate Gosselin is seeing her ex-security, Steve Neild.
Working for Gosselin, the father of the Jon & Kate Plus 8 kids, Neild went on to say that he used to live with Gosselin and, therefore, their relationship had been there “for a long time.”
The source tells us, “They have so much plans for their wedding, that is how serious it is. “I am sure that Kate is totally smitten with him… things are serious, they have talked about wedding plans and stepping into the next stage.”

Romance Revealed

Rumors about Kate Gosselin’s relationship with Steve Neild — which have been circulating for several years — came back on Monday after the ex-reality-star had a quick chat about her love life on TikTok.
Kate, who separated from Jon Gosselin in 2009, revealed that she had been seeing someone for “a little over a year, maybe 14 [or] 15 months.”
She described the man as her “mystery man” and said, “He is not really into TikToks,” and with sympathy, “I wouldn’t be surprised if he felt the same way as me.”

A Known Person

Kate implied that her boyfriend might still be partially visible. “Maybe you will get a quick look at him from time to time or even sometime in the future,” she told the audience.
Neild — who was married when he first started working with the family, but is now divorced — has been seen next to the reality star on multiple occasions while doing his job as her bodyguard.
At that time, there were rumors that the Apprentice alum and the Prudent Risk Management International maven were involved in an affair, but Kate strongly rejected the allegations.

Long-Running Scrutiny

Kate has been the target of tabloid rumors for a very long time. “The frightening thing for me is [the tabloids] they will take bits of information and create a story. It is a question of, ‘When will they cease?’ They’re going to continue, and they’ll fabricate things to link the dots,” she said to People in May 2009.
A fortnight later, the New York Post was covering the story that she had bought a condo in Maryland — only a street away from Steve Neild’s office — to ignite the rumors even more.
On the basis of Neild’s LinkedIn, he quit security work in 2019 — the same year he and Kate were seen together on a rainy day in New York City, sharing an umbrella.

A Contentious Past

From 1999 to 2009, when they separated in a very public way, Kate was married to Jon Gosselin, 48. They have eight children in common: 24-year-old twins Madelyn and Cara, and 21-year-old sextuplets Aaden, Collin, Joel, Hannah, Alexis, and Leah.
Their split was a big story due to the extremely acrimonious disputes, which saw the pair hurling cheating and money theft allegations at each other.
Only last month, Kate seemed to send a message to her ex without directly naming him, insinuating that their kids had not gone “well” following the separation.

Moving Forward

Factoring her life through, Kate to TikTok fans, “I really put my heart into it…. If all the people had been prepared to play nice, it would have been a lot easier and a lot nicer. I basically made my choices in line with what I personally would have liked to be treated, to tell you the truth. I also kept out of all the drama and the hate, and the ugliness.”
On that point, Steve Neild is the father of two children that he shares with his ex-wife, Gina — thus establishing a blended family that he and Kate will be moving on with.
