Jessie‍‌‍‍‌‍‌‍‍‌ J Is Very Upset When Her Second Surgery For Breast Cancer Gets Delayed ‍‌‍‍‌‍‌‍‍‌Again

Jessie‍‌‍‍‌‍‌‍‍‌ J Calls Postponement of Second Breast Cancer Surgery “Frustrating”

The singer who canceled her U.S. tour for the procedure says a specialist advised delaying the operation after a re-evaluation
Jessie J has announced that the planned operation for her second breast cancer will no longer be going ahead as scheduled. The singer in her Instagram video shared on Oct. 27 described the delay as “frustrating” especially after she had canceled her U.S. tour in order to undergo the procedure. “Maybe some of you know, maybe some of you don’t, I was supposed to have a second breast surgery two weeks ago,” she said. One week before the surgery, she had a consultation with her surgeon who thought it was a more complicated case than they had anticipated, so he sent her to a new specialist. After the new specialist’s examination, it was decided that the surgery could be ‍‌‍‍‌‍‌‍‍‌postponed.

The‍‌‍‍‌‍‌‍‍‌ singer decided to cancel her U.S. tour in order to have the operation, but she says that differing opinions from surgeons delayed the surgery, and she is now going to rebook her tour dates

“Obviously, I’d already cancelled my tour so I was obviously frustrated but again it’s out of my control and two different surgeons had two different opinions,” Jessie J said in an Instagram video explaining why her planned second breast cancer surgery was postponed.
The “Price Tag” singer took the time to affirm that she is making an effort to keep a positive attitude amidst a tough year. She also dropped the hint that she is allowed to rebook the U.S. and Canadian tour dates, which are scheduled to start in January, even though she made a joke about her “wonky ‍‌‍‍‌‍‌‍‍‌tits.”

Back in June, Jessie J conveyed that she was fighting breast cancer, and she said that she wanted to “be open and share it” with fans. She explained that she does not talk about cancer very much, and she thought that sharing would bring support and healing. “One, because selfishly, I do not talk about it enough,” she explained, hearing the stories of other people has helped her as well.
After her primary operation, Jessie J made an announcement that she was without cancer. A second intervention which was later postponed, thus causing a sleepless night after the tour had already been canceled, the singer has nevertheless kept her spirits up. She made a tearful comeback to the stage last month and is now scheduling tour dates in the U.S. and Canada from January ‍‌‍‍‌‍‌‍‍‌onwards.
