Set goals that attract you towards them and make achieving them more fun than being a chore. A goal could be as simple as losing five pounds or eating salad thrice a week. You can build slowly on such goals, and your health will be a reflection of accomplishing them. 

Get An Accountability Partner

Unfortunately, most people cannot hold themselves accountable, even concerning their health. Therefore, getting some help and finding someone else who can hold you accountable is a good idea. 

An accountability partner will help keep you on track and ensure you face the repercussions of ignoring your health goals. You can set up a system whereby you pay your partner every time you miss a workout or eat junk food. The hard part is getting someone who will be honest with you even when it hurts.
