Get‍‌‍‍‌‍‌‍‍‌ Acquainted with Gordon Ramsay’s Six Kids: Megan, Holly, Jack, Tilly, Oscar, and Jesse

Gordon and Tana Ramsay have a big, tight-knit family that they are proud of.
They became parents for the first time in 1998 with the arrival of their eldest daughter Megan. A year later, the family grew with the help of fraternal twins, a daughter Holly Anna, and a son Jack Scott, in 1999, followed by a daughter Matilda (widely known as Tilly) in 2001. After a miscarriage in 2016, the couple was able to welcome their son Oscar James in 2019 and their youngest son, Jesse James, in 2023.
In an interview with PEOPLE in September 2023, Gordon—widely recognized for his tough-as-nails TV persona—confessed that his kids have “brought the emotion” out of him. Likewise, Tana chimed in, “He is, believe it or not, a very sensitive person—he’s a ‍‌‍‍‌‍‌‍‍‌crier.”

Gordon‍‌‍‍‌‍‌‍‍‌ Ramsay’s Family: Milestones and His Six Children

There have been several big moments in the Ramsay family recently. Matilda “Tilly” Ramsay is making her own mark in the food industry, to the extent of taking her culinary brand Dish It Out to launch, which hit the shelves in September 2025—evidence that the fruit doesn’t fall far from the (Michelin-starred) tree.
Besides, the family marked a significant personal milestone when their daughter Holly tied the knot with Olympic swimmer Adam Peaty in December 2025. And on Feb. 18, Gordon pulled back the curtain a little further on their life together in a six-part Netflix docuseries, Being Gordon Ramsay, which is set to give an unvarnished look at life inside the Ramsay home.
Below is the list of the six children of Gordon ‍‌‍‍‌‍‌‍‍‌Ramsay.

Megan‍‌‍‍‌‍‌‍‍‌ Ramsay, 27

On May 16, 1998, Gordon and Tana brought into the world their first child, Megan. The Ramsays’ firstborn child, Megan, was a great accomplishment for the family as she was the first to graduate from college. In June 2019, Gordon posted a photo of her at her graduation from Oxford Brookes University on Instagram with the words: “So proud of this young Lady… hard work pays off!”
However, being the first daughter comes with the challenge of dealing with the protective—and at times intrusive—parenting style of Gordon. The chef confessed on The Kelly Clarkson Show in January 2023 that he had once intruded on Megan’s dinner date with her boyfriend Byron via FaceTime.
Gordon, in a light moment, characterized Byron as “a little bit pathetic” and “wet,” and disclosed that he got Byron’s phone number from Tilly to be able to interrupt the date. When Byron answered the call “shaking,” Gordon began, “Byron, it’s me. Not your future father-in-law, you little f—!”
Although Megan quickly ended the call, Gordon stood up for his behavior by explaining it was just his protective nature speaking. “I just want the girls to be looked after, and for them to look after each other,” he added. “You’re always worried about that, aren’t ‍‌‍‍‌‍‌‍‍‌you?”

Holly‍‌‍‍‌‍‌‍‍‌ Anna Ramsay, 26

Gordon and Tana were lucky to have fraternal twins Holly Anna and Jack Scott on Dec. 31, 1999.
Holly decided to start a podcast called 21 & Over in May 2021 to raise awareness about mental health issues and get rid of the stigma that still surrounds topics like anxiety and depression. Besides helping others, it has also become a space where she can freely share her personal stories.
One episode, Holly, discloses that following the sexual assault she endured while going for her fashion degree at Ravensbourne University, she was diagnosed with PTSD, anxiety, and depression. “I didn’t confide in anyone until after a year. I just buried it deep in a box in the back of my mind,” she told co-host and psychotherapist Talitha Fosh.
At this point, Holly has expressed wanting to take control of her story and even turn it into a means of helping people. “It’s a mess, and I’m trying to get a handle on my story and use it to do something positive,” she explained. Holly, who has gotten great support from her family, nevertheless, knows that healing is a life-long process. “However, I believe that by telling my story, I might be able to help ‍‌‍‍‌‍‌‍‍‌others.”

Holly‍‌‍‍‌‍‌‍‍‌ Anna Ramsay: Marriage to Adam Peaty and Sobriety

In December 2021, Holly Anna Ramsay opened up about her journey toward sobriety through an Instagram post that showed her touching heart. “Today is day 365 without any alcohol. I, at 21 years old, never thought I would say these words,” she stated. “The main reason I decided to stop drinking was that my mental health, which is the most important thing for me, was deteriorating.”
Gordon Ramsay was full of praise for his daughter’s path and he wrote in the comments: “What a lovely young lady you are beyond all words and I’m so proud of you. Love you to the moon and back, dad.”
Holly announced in September 2024 her engagement to the Olympic swimmer Adam Peaty. The couple tied the knot in the U.K. on Dec. 27, and Gordon posted a touching message to celebrate the day.
“I consider myself really fortunate to have been able to escort this stunning bride down the aisle as well as gaining a wonderful son-in-law @adam_peaty ! Love you so much @hollyramsayy and I couldn’t be a more proud Dad xxx,” he ‍‌‍‍‌‍‌‍‍‌said.

Jack‍‌‍‍‌‍‌‍‍‌ Scott Ramsay, 26

Jack Scott Ramsay, who is Holly’s fraternal twin, was born on the last day of 1999.
Jack became a Royal Marine in the United Kingdom Royal Navy in October 2020. Proudly, Gordon celebrated the occasion on Instagram by posting photos of Jack in his uniform with their family members.
“I simply can’t express how proud I am of this young man,” Hell’s Kitchen star tweeted. “Jack Ramsay you’ve made me feel like the proudest father today.”
Prior to joining the military, Jack was featured in four episodes of the 2019 British docuseries Born Famous, that followed the teenage children of famous British celebrities as they uncovered their parents’ lives before they were famous. He also ran the 2019 London Marathon, according to posts shared by his younger ‍‌‍‍‌‍‌‍‍‌brother.

In a joint interview with GQ, Jack Scott Ramsay discussed the principles he has absorbed from his father and mentioned the line to “work hard, play hard” as one of the values.
“There are times when I think you might be working too hard, maybe even too hard,” Jack commented. “But we have quality time together. We go for drives and we play sports. That’s the balance I think you’ll always definitely get,”
Gordon, always ready to bring in a touch of comedy, jokingly said: “Besides, I work hard because you’re an expensive s—.”
Jack chuckled and replied that his sisters were the real expensive ones. Gordon came up with a witty retort, reminding that Jack once had a bed made out of a car. “You have a bed that was made out of a f—— car. This Ferrari badge on the front… Ferrari pillows, Ferrari duvet,”
The dialogue was a perfect example of the friendly and fun relationship between father and son, as well as their mix of discipline and humor, which is the hallmark of the Ramsay ‍‌‍‍‌‍‌‍‍‌family.

Matilda‍‌‍‍‌‍‌‍‍‌ “Tilly” Ramsay, 24

Matilda “Tilly” Ramsay is the daughter of Gordon Ramsay and was born on Nov. 8, 2001 — the same day as her daddy.
“I cannot think of a better person to share my birthday with than this very adorable and gracious young lady @tillyramsay,” Gordon posted on Instagram in 2021. Tilly also expressed her feelings in her tribute, saying, “I couldn’t think of a better person to share this day with xxx”
From Dad to daughter, Tilly also loves cooking — and isn’t scared to give him a hard time. The father and daughter regularly collaborate with each other for wild TikTok videos, and she became the author of her 60-recipe book, ‘Tilly’s Kitchen Takeover,’ at the age of 15.
She remarked during the interview on This Morning in 2017 that her recipes were much less strict than those of her dad.
“If you don’t have one of the ingredients, it’s not a big deal,” she explained. “But with Dad’s if you don’t have one of the ingredients, it won’t work as well because his are much more ‍‌‍‍‌‍‌‍‍‌fussy.”

Matilda‍‌‍‍‌‍‌‍‍‌ “Tilly” Ramsay: TV Career, Graduation and Culinary Success

Tilly had her own CBBC cooking series, Matilda and the Ramsay Bunch, from 2015 to 2019, which showed the fans what life was like with the famous family. Her dad has publicly spoken of her kitchen talents, even saying to the Daily Mail that she’s “the number one in the household.”
Tilly also demonstrated her different sides by entering the dance contest Strictly Come Dancing where she and her professional partner were the ninth couple to leave the show.
In July 2024 she reached yet another significant moment when she graduated from the University of Nottingham with a psychology degree. On Instagram, Gordon celebrated the event by posting, “She’s Done it! To see you graduate today with a psychology BSc makes me the happiest Dad in the World congratulations darling well done.” Tilly responded in the comments, “Love you so much. Couldn’t have done it without you and mum!!”
Tilly has added yet another feather to her cap of success. Besides her academic accomplishments and TV stardom, she now presents Prime Video’s cooking series Dish It Out, thus continuing to pursue her passion for the culinary arts and flouring her own ‍‌‍‍‌‍‌‍‍‌brand.

Oscar‍‌‍‍‌‍‌‍‍‌ James Ramsay, 6

Gordon and Tana got their fifth child, Oscar James Ramsay, on April 4, 2019.
Gordon, sharing the pregnancy story on Instagram, released the first hospital pictures with Tana and their new baby, and his joking caption went: “After 3 BAFTAs and one Emmy … finally we have won an Oscar, please welcome Oscar James Ramsay, who touched down at 12:58 today for some lunch!”
The couple shared their pregnancy with the public on New Year’s Day 2019, when they posted a family video in which their children wished the fans a Happy New Year before the camera showed Tana holding her baby bump.
Oscar is the rainbow baby of the Ramsays after they had a miscarriage in 2016—something that Tana has talked about openly and honestly in the past years.
Fans usually point out how much Oscar looks like Gordon, and especially when a 2022 haircut made Oscar look even more like his father. They have been seen in matching outfits a few times through photos, and Gordon has joked about continuing the Hell’s Kitchen tradition.
“Hells Kitchen season 45 host spent time on set today with the old host! Welcome to Hells Kitchen son @oscarjramsay don’t mess it up please! Dad x,” Gordon wrote under the photos of the two at the ‍‌‍‍‌‍‌‍‍‌set.

Jesse James Ramsay, the youngest of the Ramsay siblings, was born on Nov. 8, 2023.
Tana and Gordon decided not to reveal the pregnancy until Jesse was born, and then they shared the news on Instagram.
“Such a brilliant birthday gift with the arrival of Jesse James Ramsay, 7lbs 10oz whopper,” said the Kitchen Nightmares host in his Instagram post. “Here we go – one more little love bundle added to the Ramsay family!! 3 boys, 3 girls…. Finished.”
Early December 2023, Tana posted a sweet photo of the newborn on Instagram.
“Already one month with this little one, absolutely loving every minute,” she wrote under the ‍‌‍‍‌‍‌‍‍‌picture.
