Gabrielle‍‌‍‍‌‍‌‍‍‌ Union Says Daughter Kaavia Is “Very Active” and Most Passionate About Gymnastics

Gabrielle Union has disclosed that her 7-year-old daughter Kaavia, whom she shares with husband Dwyane Wade, may have a sports career ahead of her.
At Dos Equis’ Sailgate on Jan. 19, the actress told People that Kaavia is “very active,” and her biggest passion currently is gymnastics.
“She’s [7 years old]. She’s in first grade,” Union went on to explain that Kaavia does “dance and gymnastics” and follows “Angel Reese to the point of obsession,” as well as “the KPop Demon Hunters.” Union also mentioned that her daughter has ventured into numerous activities, such as horseback riding-where she is being taught to jump-tennis, golf, and more dance.
Union revealed that she even messaged Olympic gymnast Jordan Chiles to find out what would happen to Kaavia’s career in case she gets very tall in the sport. Union jokingly explained that Chiles told her Kaavia could just become “the tallest competitor out there,” extending her hands to the uneven ‍‌‍‍‌‍‌‍‍‌bars.

Gabrielle‍‌‍‍‌‍‌‍‍‌ Union hopes a happy blended family summer with Dwyane Wade

There are five children in the Wade household – Kaavia, Zaire, Zaya, Xavier, and Wade’s nephew, Dahveon Morris, whom he is the legal guardian of. Only Jared Harrison Wade has been withdrawn from Aja Metoyer, while Zaire and Zaya have been shared with ex-wife Siohvaughn Funches. Wade and Gabrielle Union had been very open about the challenges of raising their blended family.
Union said in an interview with People that becoming a part of Wade’s family and having a relationship with his kids totally changed her view of motherhood. “I was never a mother person,” she said to People in 2017. “Step parenting just happened to me, and I love every bit of ‍‌‍‍‌‍‌‍‍‌it.”

Gabrielle‍‌‍‍‌‍‌‍‍‌ Union and Dwyane Wade Throw a Hello Kitty-themed Birthday Party for Daughter Kaavia Turning 7

The Wade-Union clan never ceases to amaze us with their love for each other as they give so much attention to each other’s milestones through celebrations. In the same vein, last November Gabrielle Union, Dwyane Wade, and Kaavia shared a couple of Instagram posts a joint carousel that was a scrapbook of the birthday bash that Kaavia had turned 7 years old. To highlight the Hello Kitty theme of the event, they lined up the photos of Kaavia dancing in the shiny pink jumpsuit.
In one of the pictures, Union and Wade posed with Kaavia and Wade’s daughter, Zaya, against the backdrop of the stunning gold and pink balloon arrangement. Among other resorting to a few cutesy touch of life-sized Hello Kitty cut-outs, a custom cake, and the very character of Hello Kitty actually making an appearance, the celebration hit a new level.
“Not lucky, but blessed #Year7,” read the caption of Kaavia’s Instagram, which also included a shout out to her aunts for helping make “another year to ‍‌‍‍‌‍‌‍‍‌remember.”

Kaavia‍‌‍‍‌‍‌‍‍‌ James Reveals the Dream Job She Wishes to Have during Kindergarten Graduation Ceremony

Back in June, Gabrielle Union uploaded a super cute TikTok clip that showed Kaavia attending her kindergarten graduation ceremony. The little graduate was dressed in a yellow cap and a “Graduation” stole, and Union commented that it was all spontaneous and no one even rehearsed it.
The little girl was very excited to share her dreams right on the stage. At some point during the ceremony, Kaavia was given a microphone, and when she was asked of the profession she would choose once she grows up, she didn’t hesitate to answer, “I want to be an actor,” which made the audience cheer even louder.
Kaavia got her diploma, kissed the crowd, and left the stage. Union wrote, “Kaav caught in 4k, but I swear I’m not even exaggerating or making it up,” under her ‍‌‍‍‌‍‌‍‍‌post.
