After Elaine Hendrix had to skip a DWTS episode on Halloween Night due to a rib injury and a short stay in the hospital, an Instagram update from the star and her partner Alan Bersten on Oct. 29 read: “I am doing okay. I am up and about. I am very tender, I am sore, but I am starting pain management today.” She only confirmed that she would not dance for two days more and that she would probably be able to dance at the next live show.
After the airing of their Argentine tango rehearsal to George Thorogood & The Destroyers’ “Bad to the Bone,” the couple thanked the fans for their voting support. “We can feel it, and we appreciate it so much,” Bersten mentioned.

She also shared behind-the-scenes pictures of her Mad Max: Fury Road-themed look and thanked the fans for their immense support. “I see all your messages. Thank you so much,” the 54-year-old exclaimed. “Firstly, I am okay and secondly, I am ready to go. Thank you so much for all the love and support you are giving me… And thank you to the whole Dancing With the Stars team for the excellent care you are giving me.” Hendrix said, “Therefore, we will be seeing you next Tuesday in the ballroom.”

Hendrix told that the doctors are saying that a day or two of rest will be enough for her to get back to dancing: “I want to dance, I want to keep doing this.”
