Reflecting on her teenage years, Edgar-Jones revealed that when acne was really getting to her, it was the only thing she noticed about herself when she looked in the mirror. However, she identified with others going through the same struggles and shared a hopeful message with them.

Edgar-Jones was born in Islington, North London and has been surrounded by the entertainment industry from a very early age. Her father, Phil, is the head of entertainment at Sky TV whereas her mother, Wendy, is a former film editor.
Starring alongside Paul Mescal, the British actress was catapulted to fame with her first film leading role in the BBC pandemic drama Normal People.
